BBQ, cookout, grill... shrimp on the Barbie?

Actually I referred to the fact that Barbie (at least in the C64 game) can spend hours to get prepared for an event with fixing her hair and finding the perfect dress, but it only takes Ken one phone call to tell her that plans are changed and all her preparations were in vain and she has to start all over again. In that respect I regularly relate to Barbie, finding what I spent hours on was nullified by one decision and I have to redo everything again.
