  1. What version of HDMI is in the Super Nt? Is the spec version upgradable via software for future possible features like Variable Refresh Rate?
  2. For historical/documentation purposes, what was the name and version of the most recent SNES/SFC SmokeMonster pack ever released?
  3. Maybe it would be helpful if Kevtris broke down all the audio/video settings and offered a native option? Resolution - native (whatever the game is coded for in real time) Refresh rate - native (whatever the game is coded for in real time). I suspect variable refresh rate displays will help. Aspect Ratio - native (256 x 8/7) Audio - native (32 kHz). Hoping the upcoming DAC has an optical pass thru for our own audio DAC. On a side note, does the snes/sfc output in the sRGB color space? We should be calibrating our monitors to the correct full range color. I dont think anyone has mentioned this.

  5. Weird question, but I watched an interview with Kevtris where he mentioned that there are still some analog signals coming off carts. What are these signals?? Was this just in reference to the Super Game Boy that produces its own sound?
  6. First of all...Kevtris is a retro gaming god! Thank you for your massive contributions to the hobby and community!! 1. Is it possible to use a Super Famicom cart game (with expansion chip) and apply a fan translation patch to it? 2. Is it possible to do the same, but with a rom (no expansion chip) on a SD card and obviously using the JB firmware? 3. Can we get an option for 32 kHz audio? (Isn’t this the native output on a real console?) 4. What are your thoughts on eventually being able to sync the native refresh rate with a HDMI 2.1 variable refresh rate display? What version of HDMI is the Super Nt using? 5. What types of SD cards does the Super Nt support? *Sorry for all the questions. The FAQ on Analogues site is pretty small.
  7. SuperNT 1. 48kHz audio? Didn't the Super Famicom and SNES output 32kHz? 2. No digital optical or coax out? Going to be tough feeding a DAC that doesnt support HDMI. Guess this is meant for AV receivers. 3. I wonder if there is enough processing power for the xBRZ filter?
  8. What are the chances of SuperNt getting an update to output 4K someday? Also, what about variable refresh rate? (I am guessing this would require HDMI 2.1?) On a side note, I am also hoping for PCE/Turbo CD and Mega/Sega CD cores!
  9. HDMI 2.1 will have variable refresh rate. Kevtris could take advantage of this with his own console to support games that do not natively run at exactly 60Hz
