All of mine are 4 switchers.... 2 of the 3 don’t have the chromed switches and I have another that does not have the correct bottom (regular six switcher bottom with a piece of plastic covering where the 2 controller ports are) But I can tell it’s the promo top because the Atari logo is different and the color bar around the switches is the same as it should have been if it was going to be a promo console. Probably was made during the end of Atari.... When they were mix matching unused parts.

I’m going to say either someone swapped the case bottoms.. Or Atari was mis matching cases... I have at least 3 that have the bottom stamp and don’t have the chromed tops.
