  1. I am putting together an order this week for the replacement power supplies - if you want to use your adam without the printer this is what you need (http://retrosystemrescue.com/product/rcap-replacement-coleco-adam-power-supply/) or if you really want to bring your adam into the 21st century then you can order this internal power supply modification (http://retrosystemrescue.com/product/coleco-adam-internal-power-supply-upgrade/) - This will be the last order for this year - dont miss out!

  2. I believe all the buffering chips on the cv board would either get in the way or cause it not to work because the cv board would not be able to disconnect the internal adam board - but when you do plug it in video it so we can all see ( the expansion #3 has these on these chips on the cable, the adam has it on the cv board).

  3. Anyone have a simple way of determining program wise (in ML) if the program is running on a colecovision or on an adam? I know I could play with the memory setup to force a program into CV mode if on an adam (or try and toggle in smart writer on an adam) but that doesn't tell me without causing issues. Is there a port I can read from on the adam that will never return a value on a cv?

  4. Good morning everyone! The rCAP power supply was received wonderfully yesterday, nine orders in less than 8 hours THANK YOU! I have sold out of the Complete models but can do as many Kits as are ordered. The Kit version is completely assembled, you will just need to attach your own cable (Kit DIY variation, instructions are included), OR send us your cable which we will attach for you and in essence make the Kit a Complete model.

I hope to get at least one more order by tomorrow if not more so we can do the minimum run of 10 next week.

  5. You can spin this however you want but the bottom line is you're charging over $130 for a bulky ugly atx power supply with a cheap label slapped on there. My supply in parts alone was about $70 leaving me $60 to cover shipping which gave me an average of less than $40 to cover my labor. Ask those who own one how much hand work went into mine. In the time it takes to make my supply I can do 4 of yours. Millie's price tag is justifiable for his power supply, yours is not. Oh and get out of here with your explanations on why you're charging this, there ain't a damn thing you can teach me about power supplies.

Thanks Rey - BTW they are now available http://retrosystemrescue.com/product/rcap-replacement-coleco-adam-power-supply/
