  1. I'd like it to have more animals (cat, steer, penguin, what else?), even if it is limited to four players. Do they move around while your choosing or waiting, like the Wii or xbox avatars?
  2. The "15-pin" is the "bohoki clone" which is for the PC analog D connector. bohoki made the 15-pin first, now ikonsgr makes them as well. Also, for about $30 you can buy both and use an analog stick for the 15 pin and genesis pad or atari joystick for the 9-pin.
  3. You have to check the checkpoint letter you reached. When you finish Z you are done.
  4. I’m liking where this game is headed. I know this has a lot of work to go still. I’d like to see ground damage and debris from exploding tanks.
  5. I only saw one trip into the hole, so, it was hard to tell: Do the programmers use some equivalent of sprite masking to hide the bottom half of the penguin in the hole or is that not necessary with the INTV?
  6. It is a matter of style. When I see 16-bit pixel art, all I think is “blurry”. I appreciate the cleaner Wii/XBLA look more.
  7. For the 15 pin one search "pc analog joystick gameport" and see the kind of analog flightsticks used. You can also use one of these with the 15-pin. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-SUNCOM-G-FORCE-PLUS-PC-FLIGHT-CONTROLLER-Retro-Gamer-Delight/283835756256?hash=item4215edeee0:g:UBsAAOSwWc1ehok3 For the 9-pin, you can use genesis gamepads and atari 2600 joystick, but it won't work well for analog games.
  8. I got playing it late, but made it to point O last night after a while. Haven't played today. Like the original, there are those point you have to know are coming up just from playing over and over because they have a tricky maneuver needed, like when you have to speed up to jump and then slow down for a big rock just off screen. I've really only played it in tilt mode, cause it's the easiest to use the four different functions.
  9. I have to say it has been wonderful how generous you have been with making your ROMs available to the public for free a year or two after release. Especially, since some of these carts, not yours, are a bummer to try to dump for a backup/multicart copy.
  10. I think the mobile game is a poor comparison for the system --part of the reason for the Amico --so, I wouldn't take to much from that. I think it was mostly to show what the game looked like and gameplay, although with poorer controls. There should be easier levels on the Amico as well. I'm not saying the implementation on the cell phone was the best way to do it. I don't know if an easier level for non-gamers and a harder one for retrogamers was feasible, but I see that better serving the public.
  11. Don't worry, we have plenty of criticism here, as long as it's polite and not crazy repetitive, and even some harsh criticisms, and the trolls have their own echo chambers far more insulated.
  12. Is it so hard for people to understand it can be popular with different demographics? Some gamers have no imagination. They just want to see what they've seen before or they crap themselves.
  13. My favorite game was Moon Patrol. I loved the graphics for it. I also loved the User Interface with the Amico robot and like the look of the TOTALLY NEW Finnigan Fox game compared to the Fox and Forests one. I don't really care for 16-bit graphics.
  14. My favorite game was Moon Patrol. I loved the graphics for it. I also loved the User Interface with the Amico robot. I don't care for 16-bit pixel art, it looks like needle stitch, so I'm fine without it and like the TOTALLY NEW Finnigan Fox game compared to the Fox and Forests one.
  15. Yeah, we're slouching back into the anecdotal, "my experience and opinion is the same as everyone's" comments. The Intellivision Entertainment's "50 million dollars and hundreds of employees on-the-line risk research and staff experience" is meaningless comments. We value people's personal view but trying to generalize it beyond that with no real qualification for doing that is not realistic. Also, nobody is saying how old these kids are that would prefer fornite to Amico games and hypothetically never play them or how they know the "Karen's" market (kind of over-generalizing there*) is imaginary. *not to mention cliche
  16. Speaking of Tank Games that could be great with re-imagining: Tank Mission Homebrew by Leo Brophy for ColecoVision. Maybe just avoid people and dogs in the one section rather than shooting them... Maybe jump the dogs and knock out soldiers, etc.
  17. So, I can't play Moon Patrol on my iPhone 6 Plus. It keeps getting froze after the title screen at the cloudy sky intro with "loading" and the spinning around it. I was able to play the first very short demo sent out months ago. Edit: Never Mind, have to start it with classic controls or whatever it's called without tilt and then toggle to tilt.
  18. Why does my rigged up Atari ST to USB mouse not show jumping? Either the 2 foot cable or noise filter in the adapter must fix it. Of course I can’t test PMC with this hooked up, just jumping in RC games. Also, some bought directly from Edladdin have the rotate buttons for pin 9 and 7, like the spinner on the super action controller, so that would provide a quandary. But that has nothing to do with the ones you build. I think i will see if ferrite clamps on the cable help.
  19. I have mentioned this before so I’ll just briefly say that I saw the jumping once or twice a minute on slither, Armageddon and turbo with RC and EM2. However, I did not see the jumping with an Atari ST to USB mouse I rigged to be compatible. Removed due to less cord or Schmidt Triggers, etc in adapter? Surprised there are issues in joystick mode, but maybe the fact the roller controller still requires pin 9 to be connected in joystick mode makes it act similar to the Edladdin devices/Super action controllers that require pin 9 to be connected.
  20. When you said you didn’t have the peripheral to investigate this pin 7 issue, was that the super action controller or the roller controller, as both have issues that require having pins 7 and 9 operational.
  21. It was the Analogue Pocket with Gorilla Glass (although I am meh on FPGA). Mr me says the amico screen is acrylic (lucite). I thought Tommy was holding the screen in the special event and said it was polycarbonate, but maybe he was holding something else. I have to rewatch the video, I guess.
  22. The glass on the Amico controller (I tried to get Amicontroller or Amicon to catch on early on, but failed 😟) is polycarbonate, so it will not shatter (was something about Gorilla Glass mentioned?), but I would push for screen protectors to be included or at least prominently recommended with instructions.
  23. We've been here before. Screw the Wii??? It's starts out about shortages, but a couple of people really hate this console and waggle business.
  24. If they could replicate all the graphics textures in that video (people, scenery, gas station, cars) for the Amico Hot Wheels game it would be sublime. It would be transcendent.
