  1. Great comment from MJR in the ASE comments: MetalJesusRocks 23 hours ago This is exactly the type of video you guys needed to really show exactly what games are coming to Amico, meet the teams involved, show the hardware and more. Great video. I'm pumped!
  2. I was going to say we should get MrBeast as a spokesman, but I see Honey (coupon page?) already signed him up......
  3. If I remember it was something like this in order of popularity: 1. People over fifty 2. Millennial/GenX parents (18-55) with kids 3-9 years old 3. 35-50 4. 18-35 with or without kids over 10 5. Kids over 10 i may be off on that 35 to 40 cutoff. Anyhow, if you are a gamer 10 to 35 and don’t like it, Intellivision predicted that 20 months ago. However, if you have kids under 10 they may like it.
  4. This is the sort of thing that results from trying to force something into a price point. It kind of concerns me about the 7800 XM I have on pre-order. It was $100 ten years ago and I bought a pre-order three years ago when it was supposed to ship a month later. Thing is, all the money was spent on the cases, so not sure what is going into the inside for free.
  5. I wasn’t including remakes. Obviously lots of $30 remakes are terrible. Also, ouya controller was worse.
  6. Yes. Like the little units for charging Wii remotes, there will be an amico equivalent. It should be available on launch. Tommy can answer if they will sell two controller with charger bundles.
  7. I hear a lot about how the Amico is too close in price to the Switch and I've been wondering how they made a console with a detachable portable screen that has an introductory price of $300. There is the obvious: less power than PS4 and XBox One. However, I think most of it is cutbacks and low quality control. I only bring this up because dismissive gamers insist on saying the Switch is competing with the Amico. Gamers are needing to replace or fix their joycon after a few months of use. I don't remember the last controller this was true about. I have 15 year old dual shocks and Wii controllers that work perfectly and 90's gamepads that work perfectly. The early 80s I guess. Next there are frequent complaints on forums of the screen getting scratched up after only a couple of months. People are told they should have a screen protector because the screen is mid-quality plastic. People often respond that the screen was warped when they got it, so they could not get a screen protector to fit, sometimes when buying two in a row. They are then told they should use a flexible screen protector, but couldn't this have been included at the point of sale because people may not think about it since how many game consoles have you had to buy a screen protector for? In addition, the little half-controller joycons dismissers insist are individual controllers are the tiniest controller in forever and the worst controller ergonomically in 40 years. Did Nintendo know the controllers would go bad or the screen would scratch easily or the plastic would warp. They would have if they did good quality control and they could have fixed the issues, but it probably would have raised the price $30. Then there is the frequent hacking of the system's online accounts and games and the poor e-shop quality control. Hacking has led to children being exposed to pornography online in games like Mario Odyssey. I haven't bought a Switch due to these issues. They could have run a tighter ship so they could have made a quality system to match their AAA games, but it would have probably raised the price to $350 and likely figured it would sell on the strength of game reputation, so, no. I wonder how they can drop the price of the console $100 for the Switch Lite without further compromise, since it will contain the vast majority of the Switch's capabilities. I'm just saying that the Amico only competes with the Switch in price because the Switch is a not-so-well made system with not-so-good online management which equals lower price point. In addition, the Amico comes with 6 pack-in games which raises the price about $40-$50.
  8. I can practically guarantee he was not talking about you. There's criticism and then there's heckling.
  9. I can buy youtube could be the issue. Half the time the comments don't load for the average youtube video and I have to reload the video for the comments to come up.
  10. I feel ya. I would add maybe sometimes you get frustrated with a game that needs a 20 page manual worth of walk through that you'll probably forget a lot of once you start playing and end up button and stick mashing to try to play.
  11. Yeah, I checked about 2pm and it said there were 71 new replies since 11am.
  12. I thought the same thing. Guess the Kid is to too grrrr for Just Dance Kids now. Also, thanks for getting the zip-up hoodies in. It looks cool.
  13. Not so much heat. Six sad lonely people making videos for each other (and I mean only each other) and lots of Dorkalicious subscribers likely wondering why he's back whining about Intellivision Entertainment after saying he was done. Used to be three lonely people, but dragged in three more banees from AA to pretend to be making videos.
  14. When you turn your phone sideways to look at the sideways pictures and the pictures also automatically turn 90degrees.
  15. First three seconds I saw this, I thought he planned to eat his golden ticket!!
  16. That's why it's deleted. I realized it would still suck to me.
  17. Lucky guy. The list is waiting list is probably pretty long now.
  18. He said it's on the top of the list for after Aug. 4. Hope they are as comfy as everyone says the pullovers are
  19. your a known troll banned from multiple threads. This must be your bridge. I'll just round-file your opinion.
  20. Screen is still way to small. Maybe I'd pay $50 for something with a 3 inch screen in 2020.
  21. What are you, their spokesperson? I want a larger screen, not it's life story. Maybe if it had a bigger screen and FPGA lived up to its hype it would be worth it.
  22. Still sucks for 2020. Waste of surface area. $300 by the time your done and an Evercade is less than $100. Who needs buggy stuff.
