  1. Okay. Thanks. I placed one order for two t-shirts and got one golden ticket. Then e-mailed for a second, because I though I should get two tickets. So, they sent me a second ticket, but the e-mail says I have one entry. Is it one entry per item or per order...thanks!
  2. Hey guys, I have an Apple 6 plus with iOS 12.4.7 updating now. I tried a couple NFC App downloads. One said my phone didn't have what was needed period (Simply NFC) and another, the 2nd one listed, said I needed at least 13.0. Is there any AFC I can download and use with 12.4.7 to enter the sweepstakes or whatever it's called? Or was I entered simply by watching the video...probably not, since I assume that's what my RFID cards are for. Must be another way to enter though.
  3. Finally got mine. Very interesting. 😀
  4. It does if you want to play the analog games and smbaker made a PSX to 5200 adapter - PSX to 15 pin. Like I said, you have to build it yourself.
  5. Then you’ll have to explain why you can get two speeds in Centipede, which is something you can only do with analog. I’m sure ave1 was speaking metaphorically or these are referring to different devices. This is my last response on this.
  6. Yes, it is true analog - but digitally simulated. Not sure how well it works though. The direct connect Baker controller being sold doesn't work for most analog games as it is too sensitive, as seen in videos. I think an exponential profile would have worked better where it is less sensitive towards the center and more sensitive toward the edge.
  7. Well, there is the playstation dual analog/shock adapter, but you have to build it yourself or hire someone to do it. Made by the same guy that made the one with the analog stick Venkman and friend were selling.
  8. You have to remember this is the guy that had the GI Joe mold and was selling bootlegs on eBay that AA forced him to pull and also tried to market their version of Sydney Hunter as their own product on the Coleco Convention website and then claimed it was a typo when confronted. It's always the same with CC.
  9. IIRC, region locking is to prevent foreign bootlegs from being sold, causing a loss for the domestic console/game producer, such as NoA vs Japanese/ European regions. I have a couple of those NTSC/PAL signal converters, but it won’t let me play games from other regions on an NTSC console, except the old 70s/80s consoles.
  10. My first sense after reading this was “Battle Tanks” because it fits the gameplay more and Armor Battle could be confused with suits of armor, for the non-INTV aficionado.
  11. It’s sad. When I see Mario or Luigi now, I feel a little disgust. Pavlov and all that.
  12. The "release" section in Wikipedia says the Wii U version will be released worldwide as give two references if anyone is ambitious enough to read them. Announced a couple weeks ago, I'm curious if the Wii and Wii U versions will be released in 2021. Not sure how reliable the Wii U version will be with the excerpt above focusing on "rushed" to get it out. Hopefully not the E.T. of Wii U games (E.T. had a 1 month deadline while most 2600 games had 4 months. Speilberg wanted a Pac-man clone, LOL.)
  13. I found this quote from a French study. Looks like Verbatim Gold Archival is the only one DVD beats 18 years. I'm uncertain what an average that is a range means, unless it is the uncertainty around the average. In that case the center (statistical mean) for the Verbatim Gold Archival would be about 80 years. The M-disk DVD is supposed to last over 100 years, minimum, but has a special player that may go the way of the iOmega Zip drive by 2050. https://www.pcworld.com/article/2933478/m-disc-optical-media-reviewed-your-data-good-for-a-thousand-years.html "Verbatim Gold Archival DVD-R [...] has been rated as the most reliable DVD-R in a thorough long-term stress test by the well regarded German c't magazine (c't 16/2008, pages 116-123) [...] achieving a minimum durability of 18 years and an average durability of 32 to 127 years (at 25C, 50% humidity). No other disc came anywhere close to these values, the second best DVD-R had a minimum durability of only 5 years."
  14. If you go here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/529860/ColecoVision_Flashback/ You see 40 games in a Dec. 27, 2014 ColecoVision collection, including Zaxxon, with the message: Coleco®, ColecoVision®, and ColecoVision® Flashback® are registered trademarks of Coleco Holdings LLC. All rights reserved. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Then, in 2018, Coleco Holdings was going to include 20-30 games on the Phoenix along with with the ColecoVision label for a licensing fee of $10 per console. Also, I'm not sure why Flashback would be a registered trademark of Coleco Holdings.
  15. Just never seen any evidence of it.
  16. It shipped on January 6, but please expect 4-6 years for delivery.
  17. In fact, you should be able to play more games, like foreign games, if it's modded correctly.
  18. No. The original incarnation of the Phoenix was labelled ColecoVision rather than Collectorvision and came with ColecoVision retail rather than homebrew games due to a licensing deal with Coleco. Besides, AtGames Bill Logoduice said they assumed Coleco/Cardillo had the rights and licensed them from him.
  19. If your Coleco, apparently, you can also sell it loaded up with classic ColecoVision ROMs, though I still don't know how Cardillo has rights to them. It may not mean much to most of us, but might to Joe or Jane Blo. Like Erin, who reviewed the Phoenix and reviews everything retro from retail gaming, but knows pretty much nothing about homebrews.
  20. Aren't CD/DVD-Rs supposed to be the 80 year media? I guess their not using Verbatim or Toshiba.
  21. Why is Ian still wearing that pink nipple shirt? Is that for Pat?
