I just looked up the ebay auction. The seller makes it sound like the game is playable by saying "it's a magical multi-screen adventure! Help brave TALON, wielder of the magic sword, rescue the fair ALANA from the evil sorcerer XUSIA and his allies. Fight your way past an evil Kings soldiers to breach the gates of magiccity." The buyer will probably be pretty pissed off.

Ones I've settled on using: Arcade - MAME, of course Atari 2600 - Stella Sega Genesis - Gens Nintendo - Nestopia Super Nintendo - Snes9x Turbografx 16 - PCE Master System - Mekaw Colecovision - Mekaw The "why" behind each choice comes down to ease of use in most cases. Then if you expand into "simulators", I use Visual Pinmame for Pinball and LED Head for Mattel handhelds (great program).

I need to find a scan or text copy of the manual for "Cannon Fodder" for either the Genesis or the Super Nintendo. I've been searching with no luck. Anybody know a good link?

Back in the day, I had an Amiga 500 that I bought solely to play games with (North & South, Lords of the Rising Sun, Might & Magic 2, TV Sports Football, Wayne Gretzky Hockey) Ah, the memories I want to buy one again. The Questions: 1) I originally had a video adapter that allowed me to plug it into my television. Does anyone know what this adapter is called? Or should I just use a monitor? If so what kind of monitor do I need to get. 2) Would it be much better just to go ahead and get an Amiga 2000 instead? It would still play all the games, right? Any other suggestions for a soon to be resurrected Amiga gamer?

What should I call games like SC3000, builders? Empire Earth would definitely be RTS though, right? I forgot about Rollercoaster Tycoon. Yes, had it, loved it!

I haven't played any in a while and I'm looking for some recommendations for a real time strategy/ builder for PC. In the past I've enjoyed: The City Builder Series: Caesar 3, Pharaoh, Emperor was pretty fun. Sim City 3000 was decent. I LOVED Empire Earth 2!
