    I'm just curious.... This game is listed here at atari age but I can't find it in the price/rarity guides, "Video Game Collector" or The Digital Press Collector's guide.

     

    Is there something about this title that excludes it from the other guides but not atariage?

    I wouldn't judge anyone too harshly from negs left by only a single person. Anyone can have a deal go bad or just get a crazy person on the other end of the deal every once in a while.

    But.... NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, leave feedback until everythings done!

    He just pulls ii if it doesn't make it to what he wants within 20 minutes of it closing.  :roll:

     

    I honestly do hate to offend, but your friend's an idiot! Most of the bids come in the last 1 minute. Not to mention he's inconveniencing a lot of people by doing things this way. He obviously doesn't have any regard for other people or honesty.

     

    I did sell a couple items for friends before, but even then I made them give me the items before I sold them, that way they had no choice but to go through with it.

     

    I don't sell for anyone anymore though, just tooooo many potential problems.

    For those of you who have done a lot of selling on eBay......

    Have you noticed any advantage to starting/ending your auctions on weekends vs. weeknights?

    I'm wondering when the best time to have my auctions end is, you know, when will I be most likely to get the best money for my goods?

    PC game....... A Space Piloting Campaign starring Bruce Campbell as the voice of the hero.

     

    Excellent game - You start out as a private pilot for hire, get set up for a "crime you didn't commit", get banished to the "Fringe" outside of Sol Space, and then you eventually choose to become a pilot for either the big corporate guys (can't remember their name) or the "Bora", kind of a rag tag rebel group.

     

    But I just can't remember wether or not it had botmatch. I was pretty new to pc gaming at the time.

    GOOD NEWS!!

     

    I just heard back from the buyer, and he had not gone through with the payment yet..... He requested some proof from Topol777 before paying him.

     

    I'm gonna be watching that scumbags auctions from now on.... just to be a pain in his worthless ass.

     

    On a sidenote, the guy that won the auction has a classic gaming website going up. www.j2games.com It's not done yet, but it looks like he'll be selling a lot of retro stuff.

    Unfortunately when I emailed him through eBay's "contact member" thingy, I could not provide a link to a product or I would be in violation of eBay rules. I had to just hint around about the authenticity. After his response to me, I had his real email adress and was able to send him the link. I hope he got it before he paid.
