3rd level boss..... Go to the top of the screen very close to the boss and rapidly bomb the first "gun thingy". When it disappears just move on to the next one and so on as quickly as possible. I seem to be at a sticking point now.... all day I haven't been able to reach my previous high. Hell, half the time I'm not making it through the third level without losing all of my ships. I think I get careless at the lower levels once I've beat them several times.

I have to disagree...... I can't think of a single console title that's better than the arcade. Phoenix, Jungle Hunt, Frogger...... especially Joust.

I'm keeping within striking distance NDS! Took me several times to kill the level 3 boss. Now I'm having trouble surviving very long on lvl 4. I'll get better though. It's a good thing I don't have a job to get in the way of my games I've played about 3 hours already today. 63,200 Pressure Cooker..... Emulator (haven't used the mouse as a gun but willing to try). I love gun games. Hey, I've got my Act Labs gun hooked up, I wonder if it's possible to use it?

Ok, I'm rockin now 44,300 Here's some tips: Grab the coins, especially the big ones when you kill a monster generator thingy. When you get so many, a sign will come onto the screen that looks like a red stop sign, but says "shop". Pick that up and it takes you to where you can buy ship upgrades. Kill the things that generate the monsters... I think it has something to do with advancing levels.... and use bombs when you can as it seems they do more damage. On leve boss 2, I didn't have to heavy bomb him. He eventually died from gunfire.

Ok, I've been reading 2 threads about Chimera..... one for a cartridge and one for a console. Would someone please explain exactly what either (or both) would be/do for just a gamer like me. Don't use words and acronyms like SRAM, RIOT, TIA, ARM, 6507, SuperFX chip, etc. (or at least be VERY explanitory) I, and others, have no idea what these things are. If I'm understanding correctly......... The Chimera Cartridge would be able to hold games (programmed to take advantage of it), that would surpass the current abilities of the 2600. The Chimera Console would be a 2600 with the ability to load roms into it like having a built in flash cart. Is this accurate?

I'll start.... 10,150 You know as much of a classic console and arcade/mame fan as I am, I've never played Mr.Do before..... It just never looked good. I even remember it back in the arcade days, but I just never sank a quarter.

Several attempts.....removed EDIT: I just played a couple more times and I can only get to 32,500. And I made it farther than I did for my previous 39k. So, I either misread my score (might have been 29 instead of 39 or something weird happened with my game. To be fair I'm only going to count the 32,500. So its... 32,500
