    I'm pretty decent at this one, played it a lot on genesis and in Mame. Although at the level I ended at, I can't see improving my score too much as it's so fast, the last couple minutes of play were pretty much luck.... maybe I'll try to win the challenge mode.

    It seems that when the ball goes off the screen, the player who's side it was on gets a point instead of the player who shot the ball. It doesn't make sense to me. Maybe it should either bounce back off the side of the screen or the player who made the shot should get the point.

     

    I just checked it and didn't find that bug at all..... If the defending player touches the ball before it goes out of bounds, then the other player gets a point. Are you sure you didn't touch it first?

    Oni isn't the sumo boss......that's Gonta.

    Oni is the ninja boss with the mask. How long did it take you to figure him out?

     

    I haven't learned all the names yet :)

     

    Actually, I lucked into figuring him out on only like the second time I fought him. It took me a lot longer for Gonta

    and I STILL can't beat the female (Rita, what a name)..... I'm getting frustrated. I've been trying to vary my attacks as much as possible

    but I never get her down past about 25%.

     

    For anyone interested in a tip for beating Oni..... you can out punch him. He's the easiest boss to beat (so far) once you figure it out.

    There is a big festival going on in my little town this weekend, the wife and I we're looking around the plethora of part time antique dealers that set up booths when we came across a box of 13 atari 2600 carts. Experience has taught me these people always want WAY too much so I didn't even want to bother asking how much, but my wife offered $2 for the whole box and the dealer accepted. Holy crap.

    The labels aren't the best, but they all play.... not bad for two bucks. Taught me a lesson.

    And how long did it take you to find the secret to beating Oni?

     

    Not too long really, he's not that tough if you avoid the charge by high jumping, and make sure to stay out of his way when he starts his jumping.

     

     

    I can't even get past the first boss. I jump around kicking and punching, and never do more then 25% damage.

     

    Try jump in/kick... then quickly back away and repeat.
