  1. I saw a front loader this morning at a flea market. The guy who had it just pisses me off. He has to be the biggest slob, all his stuff is just piled up like he got evicted. He has one of those double garage stalls piled to the roof and all the way to the front with stuff. I just know he has at least a few things in there that I'd like. I never asked for the price on the front loader, it was bunched in with a bunch of other systems in a box stacked/ballanced on top of another box of systems. I never would have found the hookups. If the guy would just straiten up his shop so you could see what he had he would probably sell some stuff.
  2. Picked this up again after about 2 months a little bit, just cant seem to realy wanna play it alot though. Meaby cause my collection of other games have grown that I havent been playing it that much. I miss the radio personalities from Vice City, It seems that the ones on the west coast just arent as rememorable. I also miss the "Giggle Cream" ads.
  3. Tough question. Do you need the money? Will it increase in value to potentialy a shit-load more money? I think about this alot since I frequent a lot of thrifts and junk shops, I'll ponder "what if I hit the jackpot?". I dont even know how to answer.
  4. I havent been looking alot (I'm broke) but stuff seems cheaper in the summer. If you can wait that long for a good deal.
  5. I got one before christmas and I love it. It does come with an adaptor. Never seen a blinking screen on it yet. I was sick for a week recently and played zelda for a few days and fell asleep and left it on overnight. when I woke in the morning the screen was scrambled and when I reset it my game save was gone. I did notice a graphic glitch from the map portion (top left) down the side like a row of small blocks and parts of letters. Not a big deal to me and the game was still playable. I havent played any other NES games on it for extended periods except for Tetris for a few hours, mostly just testing carts carts that were given to me. BTW I payed $50 for mine localy, I havent seen them for much less on ebay if you add shipping.
  6. Sorry I didnt read your post correctly. This is an A/V mod that I used look in "How to"http://www.classicgaming.com/vcsp/index.htm
  7. Get an old clock radio or other junk circut board and practice soldering if you think you cant handle it, then dont. Meaby you know someone who can do it for you with the correct instructions.
  8. I'm currently trying to put one in a woody 4 switch case, and have a few questions. 1. dose it get much interferance? I also have to do away with some shielding and have relocated the RF modulator. 2. is the cable from the modulator to the PCB shielded? Thats all I can think of for now. It looks great why didnt Nintendo thing of this ?
  9. I loved "Intelligent Qube" a great puzzle game, hard to find for less than $50 though. I also like Twisted Metal 1 and 2, Residend Evil series and Namco museame.
  10. Thanks guys, I was playing "Imercenary" a strange game, pretty fun though. I realized this is a fairly advanced console considering its 12 years old. Any recomended games? I dont realy like fighters, more like FPS's and puzzle games.
  11. I hit a pawn I hardly ever hit today, and found a Panasonic 3DO with 3 boxed games (super street fighter II turbo, way of the warrior and immercenary) 2 controls and AV hookup. All for a cool $50. I'm stoked This is probably my best pawnshop find. The guy was real cool, played a game of street fighter with him (and lost) while I checked it out. He said he had a 2600 with 30 or so games that someone offered him $120 bucks for so he sold it. I told him he got a good payday on that one (dont know if there was anything rare in the lot or not). Still a good score though.
  12. Just check one, and it works with missle command (with joystick) not sure on the paddle or keypads?
  13. I got 2 pair of 6 footers for $1.99 each NIB, havent tried them out yet though. They are "Nuby" brand for genesis.
  14. I opened my genny 3-button's. I cut off the IC chip and followed out the traces for the buttons. Used the Atari schematic to wire the controller end correctly. I had to place some jumpers and cut some traces if I remember. I made all the buttons the "fire" button. I got it backwards a couple times (I made 3 all told) so left was right and vice versa. This just makes it electricaly the same as an atari controller. I didnt look up the IC to see what it was I just cut off.
  15. How would they know the game is actualy inside? If they could be re-wraped it could have a SMB/Duckhunt inside. After 5k you cant open it to prove that its for real.
  16. So what pack-ins are included? they are just the ROMs, that I didnt know were already available. I rarely use my emulator, so I didnt know I already had them.
  17. Mine seems to be working good (WinXP), though I havent tried all the features. The homebrew pack-ins are cool I'll definately be getting some actual carts from the store, great idea. The art is great too. Great job.
  18. Is the "tengen" tetris different than the nintendo vresion? Smash TV is good any time, get two joysticks though.
  19. I like to throw my controller personaly, its a cheaper fix. Crack it open (not literaly, use a screwdriver) and take a visual inspection, its the best way to find if something is physicaly broken.
  20. I just picked up "P.O.'ed" the other day in a long box, for $4.99. Its black plastic with the ridges on the hinge side. I also like these cause they have a lot of art on them.
  21. I wish "WhataBurger" had stuff like this, Its my favorite burger, and they have real onion rings. But I like the "Whopper" well enough to blow my diet for a week or two.
  22. I played tetris on an o-scope, It was built in to the software. It was a newer digital HP model, well about 8 years ago. The o-scope was itself built into a "test set" for an IFF (I.dentify F.riend or F.oe) system, wich works in conjunction with military RADAR systems. It was fun when your doing maintence and want to take a break, punch in the tetris. there was a simple secret 2 or 3 buttons you had to push to get the game up, and it was monochrome.
  23. I like to read mags, specialy on the crapper. I like all the screen shots, interviews, big colorfull ads. and I cant fold the internet inhalf and put it in my back pocket.
  24. Oh boo-hoo breakin' shit IS fun. To bad you didnt rid the world of some toaster NES's, I might buy a video of someone smashing those, like "Bumb Fights" or something. To bad you didnt have fire crackers or something explosive.
