They say the 'Cost of Living' is relative, ....well when Atari's first started shipping computers they cost about 8-900USD, yet they got cheaper as you got further into their lifespan, strange thing is that you can now pick up a prebuilt PC (better specced) cheaper then Atari were selling their first computers for

      I recall paying just under $500 US for my 1st ST. That seemed like a lot less to me in 1993...seems wrong.
