Re: digital download You're looking at the problem the wrong way round KJ/Peteym One Idea would be that you put out a 'cutdown' or reduced content/PD version of this updated 'tempest' game as digital download and offer anyone who downloads the PD version a discount on the full (paid for) game That way at least you are not 'losing customers' you are actually encouraging them, since you are giving them a taste of what they are buying and also offering them a discount on the full version You are entitled to your atitude ofcourse but that approach won't win many customers

Quick Q....Wasn't the original super mario game done by an outside developer or software house I wouldn't call the tomb raider series 'platformers', more 'action adventures' You missed of Donkey Kong (which spawned the mario bros series) and also Miner 2049r (which was the first platformer programmed for games machines/computers not based on an arcade/coin op game) Interesting thing is that Miner 2049r is basically a re-engineered Pacman game

Both look good, hows about hacking ST Llamatron (best robotron rip off on the ST) to the Jag....At least the jag will have some classic arcade like game on the system

Mr Gunstar...you sure that is just an ST and not an FM....case looks a bit big for an orig ST (1st pic) Have you tried Quantum Paint (or whatever it was called) I think some brit. s/w house did it (Eidersoft or sommat like that)...I think it was the first ST gfx program to emulate the amiga colour pallete, probably using some Vblank trickery

Seeming as though we are talking about diagonal scrollers, perhaps a better hack of DF would be into Blue Max or Blue Max 2001 (both are defo better then Zaxxon, even on the A8)
