  1. Well I like that they, and the light sizers, have the difficulty switches on the front.
  2. Are you shocked? I’m not. I ore-ordered one, but I’m not at all surprised that it will be late..
  3. Pitfall! While I can appreciate the creativity of it, I always found it boring. Breakout: I also get bored with this one very quickly.
  4. That looks pretty good. Has anyone typed it in??
  5. That's awesome! I think I'll have to try playing with the shields off to get to the Hero rank.
  6. Hmmm... I still have work to do!
  7. Well, if finally happened! Ace Level A! Without using the A Difficulty, too.
  8. I've been playing Phaser Patrol a lot lately. I think it's replaced Starmaster as my favorite Star Raiders clone on the 2600. (I know it's kinda cheating since it uses the additional memory from the Supercharger, but still). I've gotten Pilot Level A a number of times, and Ace Level B a couple of times, but I can't get any higher. Has anyone managed to get Ace Level A? Do you have to set the right A/B to A for that? I tried that once and died REAL quick... Apologies for the poor screenshots. Apparently, however the game is displaying the score in Stella, it doesn't work well with screen captures.
  9. Ahh yes. Pac-Man Fever. The last global pandemic...
  10. Yeah that’s possible, although I thought i had the original. But it’s been so long now I’m not sure. Maybe i need to hack this version to make it easier...
  11. Thanks very much!! At first glance, this looks just like the version I have, but I'm not sure which version I've been playing, although I think it's been the disc version. Way back in the '80s, I played the tape version (I didn't have a disk drive then). It looked the same, as far as I can remember, but seemed much easier to win.
  12. Do you still have Midway Campaign? This was one of my favorite games on the Atari, but the only version I have is from the ATR image on Atarimania and it seems to have been hacked to make it completely impossible to win. I suppose I could dig though to the BASIC code and try to figure out where it had been changed, but if you (or anyone) has a good working copy of the game, I'd sure appreciate it...
  13. Multi-player? Galaxy Single player? Nuke War or Midway Campaign All from Avalon Hill. (I guess I was a fan of their games...)
  14. I've played a few times. It's pricey and difficult, but fun.
  15. I’m really hoping for Sea Battle and Space Battle.
  16. I’ve always like the 2600 Pac-Man. Like most people, I was disappointed at first that it didn’t much resemble the arcade version. But the game was fun! And that was what mattered most.
  17. Space Attack is definitely a good game, and the joystick works well for the battle part of it, but much less well than the INTV controllers with the number pad and overlay for deploying your squadrons.
  18. Yep, one of my favorites! Not sure I’d like the variation where it never ends. I tend to like the feeling of accomplishment that comes from finishing a game.
  19. Yeah, good memories from when it was new. Easy and fun.
