  1. Wow! That is very cool. If you were to produce them, I'd be very interested.
  2. Where does its get stuck with the cutscenes? And is there away to do gosubs or functions in place of the gotos? They make it really tough to follow the program logic.
  3. If you end up buying it, please let us know how well it works!
  4. Yeah, it always makes me a bit sad that they never released all of the peripherals planned for the 2600. So much potential...
  5. What is the fastdiv update and where can I find it?
  6. I'm assuming that this is because of the moving cross-hairs that the game uses. Pushing up makes the cross-hairs move up and you climb. Pushing down makes them go down and you dive. I'd definitely prefer fixed cross-hairs and the normal "push to dive" method. This feels more like INTV Space Battle / Space Attack.
  7. As I've said on these forums several times now, the original Star Raiders is my all-time favorite video game, so you can imagine how excited I am to see this! It's pretty good, too, even if it's incomplete. The planet surface battle is HARD! It's going to take me some time to master it. And I'm not sure I like the moving cross-hairs in the forward view. Seems to make it more difficult than the original. But I do like the lasers instead of the "fire balls" or whatever they were called. And the new flying behavior of the Zylon ships is fun, too. Definitely going to have to spend some time with this game...
  8. Proof that for every game that people hated, somebody liked it. In the case of Laser Blast, that somebody was me.
  9. So, what difference then, is there between the FB5 and the FB6?

Sadly, as a game it's not great. Not the worst, but not very good.
  11. Yeah I always wanted a black background when shields were up too. Although I did think the Phaser Patrol effect for raising and lowering shields was the coolest.
  12. I nevr knew about most of the hacks, but I always liked getting the double shots in Space Invaders.
  13. Yes, I'm a fan of Laser Blast, too. I know it's repetitive but I kinda like that. (I'm also a big fan of Superman, so perhaps we have the same poor taste...)
  14. That is really nice looking! Great work!
  15. Yeah, no connection to the game, and honestly, it doesn't look very good.
  16. I was ten years old in 1977 and I knew they were the same. To the best of my recollection, it was common knowledge. I can remember going with my parents to Sears and hanging out to play the games at the display unit while my parents did their shopping. Of course, Sears also sold their Intellivision clone which had an advantage over the original in that the controllers were removable/replaceable. They used the same plugs as the Atari and I was so disappointed to learn that there was no way to interchange the Intelly controllers with the Atari ones.
  17. I played the M-Network one a ton more way back when, so I guess it was my favorite.
  18. Space Invaders would be awesome as a paddle game. Any vertical shooter I think would be fun to try with a paddle.
  19. That's great! I hope they respond.
  20. The original Atari Football was far more fun than it should have been, but the one that really surprised me was Superman. For some reason, I had low expectations for it, but it ended up being one of my favorite games.
  21. There's no issue using a Genesis controller, to the best of my knowledge. Only the directional buttons and the B button will work, however.
  22. Along those lines, two of my favorites were the Avalon Hill games Nukewar and Galaxy. I'd love to see those added!
