  1. If it were me, I'd just find a decent image of one online and print it out on card stock.
  2. So you're running an Atari emulator under a Windows emulator. I like it!

For the 70s it's not bad, but it really doesn't show what the 2600 can really do and it pales in comparison to later games like Starmaster and Star Raiders.
  4. Perfectly safe, but it may prove difficult to get a good picture.
  5. I went ahead and downloaded it too. And I agree, the controls are very good. Fun game!
  6. Looks fun, but I always seem to have trouble with the control of games on the iPad with no physical joystick or controller.
  7. Heh. This pretty much sums up my exact feelings about the original Star Raiders on the A800 and Star Master (and Star Raiders and Phased Patrol and others) on the 2600. They were incredibly immersive, incredibly "realistic"... with a little help from an active imagination.
  8. Not a bad list, really. Obviously, almost any game had some good things going for it. Well, almost any game. (Dirty little secret: Back in the day, I had a LOT of fun playing Pac-Mac on the 2600. Yes, it looked nothing like the arcade and had a lot of limitations, but taken on its own, it was a decent game...)
  9. You have Superman and Lois Lane, with a kiss, in Superman.
  10. About a year and a half ago, I posted a fairly detailed review of my top five favorite space first-person shooters (http://atariage.com/forums/topic/198404-my-top-five-first-person-space-simulatorsshooters/?hl=phaser&do=findComment&comment=2531025). My order went like this: 5. Star Voyager 4. Space Attack 3. Star Raiders 2. Phaser Patrol 1. Starmaster And I qualified my ranking by stating that the Atari 800 version of Star Raiders was (and still is) my favorite all-time video game on any system anywhere.
  11. As I recall, the Atari computer (400/800/etc) carts were quite a bit smaller than the 2600 carts, so it seems unlikely that 2600 carts would fit at all into a holder designed for the computer carts. I believe the 5200 carts were a bit bigger than the 2600 ones, so perhaps this case is made for those?
  12. As I mentioned before, I used LOGO in high school when I student-taught a programming class for kids. Later in college I took a comparative programming class in which we programmed in LISP, FORTH, and C. I never made the connection between LOGO and LISP, however! I had no idea they were related.
  13. I never really used LOGO for programming anything, but I did student-teach a computer class for kids at the local community college (it was part of their "college for kids" summer program). We taught the first half of the class using LOGO and the second half using BASIC. As I recall, the computers they had were Apple II's. I never had the LOGO or PILOT carts for my Atari, although I always wanted them both.
  14. Just get me through Halloween and then I can enjoy the fall.

Unfortunately, leg and [email protected]#$% coverage is still necessary for ventures into the public. However, you are welcome to the pleasures of nudity within the confines of your own home.

  20. Are you asking about the difference between the Intellivision games and the M-Network versions? If so, the primary difference is that the games were simplified from the original INTV versions to work on the less powerful Atari 2600. For the most part, they are similar, but lacking in some of the features, graphics, and sounds of the originals. Definitely worth having, in my opinion!
