stupid tire pressure sensors with sealed up - inside the case button cells from the factory... stupid! now you have to decide, all new? or careful hack to open and reseal without adding weight and keeping strength / integrity. no reason for this silliness, they could have made them easily replaceable an even used tire rotation to recharge them... par for the course these days.

Let's just say that I tend to get right on top of car repairs as soon as I know that they're needed since I hate having them turn into bigger problems.

The TPMS light on the Jeep's dash has been on for over a year and my enthusiasm for doing anything about it is zero.  Taking it to a tyre shop, having them dismount the tyre and replace it, then charge me $75 or so for the privilege just isn't all that appealing.  It'll need new tyres after the Winter; I'll have it taken care of then.

Of all the mandated idiot lights vehicles have been saddled with that are of dubious benefit, that one is near the top of my list.
