    shame it seems like its going to end with nothing but a settlement barely out of small claims court and a handful of pilot and prototype units and a bunch of empty boxes, shame, if by some miracle there are some more test units hopefully the liquidators will sell them, I'd still buy one just because I like odd ball video game hardware, on the bright side anyone looking forward to @awbacon's inevitable video on one of the few pilot units in a decade or so?

    at least this series has a single RVA (republic of Vietnam)soldier in it, but a proper game should be mainly RVA forces with support from US , New Zealand, and Australian forces against the NVA and Vietcong with sino-soviet support, most people don't realize that millions of men from South Vietnam fought to repulse the invasion from the north. Their stories being ignored is a tragedy.

      I am so very envious! In 2021, I moved from a city of 1.2M to one of 50K, and I really terribly miss the diverse restaurant scene. There was this great, cheap, family-run Vietnamese restaurant located literally 50 yards from my front door (that also served some Korean dishes too).

       

      Bulgogi is amazing, but I have never had Galbi.

      galbi is beef short ribs marinated in a soy/garlic/peach sauce, the most perfectly sweet and savory piece of beef prepared to be extremely tender

      I hope they have everything I loved when I lived in Korea

    Only console i ever bought that was bad when it was contemporary was the mattel hyperscan on deep clearance (I mean it was like 8 dollars or something) but I knew it was trash going in and bought it as a novelty , so the answer is really none

    I'd say 2600 games actually look better than most other consoles on modern tvs because everything was really blocky to begin with so with a clean signal the stark squares still look fine, though obviously they still look better, they aren't butchered like the genesis/snes/neo geo

    got an email from GameStop explaining that the item was canceled by the vendor shame, as I was really looking forward to it because I like silly novelties like it was shaping up to be (though probably not supposed to be) oh well, if they manage to limp something out the gate, I'll buy one still (fully aware it will fail+ underdeliver, don't care)
