I think if you are on the fence about the odyssey 2, you should buy one and as many games as possible while  they are still cheap, never know when they might go stupid like the channel f has recently

Why do people pronounce MK Raiden as Rayden but pronounce the shmup as Rai-den (which is the correct way to say Raiden I think)? English is weird.

Yeah, my extended 80 column card was showing random patterns on the screen for half a second every time I typed a single character, so I thought it must be a ram chip with a bad connection. I reseated all 8 of them, and guess what? It doesnt work at all now.

I put like a $500 item on ebay. Somebody asked what the reserve was, and I replied "I think $125" (I couldn't remember exactly). Turns out it was $150, so the maroon proceeded to bid it up to $155 against someone else in the last minute of bidding before it ended. Then she had the nerve to message me asking if I'd lower it to $125 since I told her I thought it was $125 reserve. She also said she couldn't afford $155.   I just cancelled the auction and relisted it and told her to go in with her $125 bid and don't go a penny over $125. Some of these people are so dumb it's amazing they can get up in the morning and dress themselves.

Ugh; Craigslist sucks.. you have to have a super-complicated password and half the people seem to flake out on you.

Ebay really screwed me. They didn't charge enough for shipping and then Paypal wouldn't use my checking account to pay the high shipping costs. (flat rate raised to $21! o_O)

The gods of vintage software must be pleased with me. Somehow. Got two more pieces I've been looking for for years. And at reasonable prices.

It's sunfaded and has been cut out.  Offer only good at Lacade Foods Inc. Stores.  It says no cash value, but I disagree.  Let's start the bidding at .01!   If it doesn't get up to at least 3 cents though,   I'll prolly just keep it in the collection.

Craziest day!  My 85 year old aunt found my original Atari VCS BOX!  (Which I believe I bought in 1979 or 1980).  Not the console (Which my cousin pawned or lost in a storage shed before he died we're pretty sure), but the box itself, which was under an inch of dust in her downstairs closet.  I can confirm I bought it at Grand Central for $129.99 on sale from $159.99 cuz the price tags are still there!  The box shows a Heavy Sixer but I'm pretty sure mine was a Light Sixer.  I thought all of it was lost,...Never thought I'd see this again!  Inside is some NES game boxes;  All of it is dusty as hell!

Who remembers going to Toys R Us in the mid-late 1990's when they had so much oversupply of NES games that they were selling them for so cheap that they put these huge dark orange stickers on them and they were particularity giving them away.
