If you don't care about the labels or have a extra cart take it apart and play it.
Gave it thought and test fit other carts I have and may not have tried on my 7800 (an A3 model). They all fit reasonably well (including the Imagics, which are a little tighter, but not bad at all). I just couldn't justify the Lock-On 2600 for only the 3 Tigervision games. So, I went ahead and clipped a little off the posts with a pair of sidecuts. I may have given up some value, but I can live with that. They still look good enough for me and no intent to sell.
Love Polaris and Threshold! Miner 2049 is nothing to get excited about, but is worth a little play time too...

I can't believe it, but apparently I have not played any of my Tigervision games in a VERY long time (since my 2600 went up in smoke, MANY years ago)... Just found out they don't fit in my 7800. I did some searching around the site and it sounds like it's just the posts being too long. I'd prefer not to try clipping them if I can avoid it. Saw a recommendation to NOT disassemble the cartridge due to the labels being fragile. Either way, all the information I found was quite old. What's the cleanest mod people are using to make them fit these days?
For the curious, it's Miner 2049er, Polaris, and Threshold.

OK, mine is an A3. I know it was purchased very late. My cousin got it as a Xmas gift back IIRC in '92? Doesn't mean that it wasn't sitting on a shelf for a long time though... I guess one of these days I'll have to pop the case and check the chip dates to satisfy my curiosity.

I don't have Stargate, but Secret Quest does work on mine at least. Forgot about that game, time to get it back out!

I understand perhaps some don't have a 2600 or perhaps space limits them to the one console but to me a 2600 isn't prohibitively expensive to rule one out.
My 2600 went up in smoke a number of years ago and all I currently have left is a 7800, so that's what I use for everything as so far it's working for everything. 🙂

I've got a 7800 that was purchased very late, but don't know the build date. Is there a serial number to date conversion list somewhere?
Anyways, it had C64, but after clipping it I've yet to find any game so far that won't run. I don't have any homebrew yet (I have 2 on order right now, I'd imagine they'll be in a batch going out in the next couple of weeks), but I've got a number of the other troublesome ones (Robot Tank, Supercharger, etc).

How has nobody snapped up that 600XL yet? Sooo tempting. I really, really don't need to be spending any more money right now though!

Never ran across them before. They've got a couple games I'm interested in listed on the site, but the main page says the store is closed? Wonder what happened?

This is really odd, but on the latest version (have not gone back to see which version it started on yet), I no longer have enhanced sound with the XM cart on A7800. I'm getting TIA music again. I double checked with the Arkanoid WIP to make sure that the XM cart in A7800 does still work.
*Edit*
XM sound in A7800 worked back in the versions in posts 177 and 186. All subsequent versions play TIA music on my system. Not sure if this impacts real hardware, or even is a "just me" problem...

I would have pre-ordered I'm sure, but I went inactive on here back in 2007 and just came back now in 2020. 🙂 Hope there are some left over for those of us late to the game!

I'm sure I had the Light Phaser. I remember playing Marksman Shooting & Trap Shooting game and the picture of the Light Phaser looks exactly like I remember. Never had a real Mastersystem, just the Genesis with converter.

It's been a looong time now, but IIRC it does work? I think I had one?

Is this gone now?
I'd really prefer a working one, but at this point would take a parts one if I could get it cheap enough. Although, even the shipping may be too much, I know that gets kind of expensive these days...

I sold my Sega setup (early Genesis, PBC, Sega CD, and 32x) awhile back, but I had a collection of MasterSystem games and I always just used the 6 button Genesis controller with my Power Base Converter.

I see the WIP has paddle, joystick, and joypad support. Any chance on driving controller support too (asks the guy that has no concept of what kind of implementation details that involves on this platform)?
Why do I ask?
I ordered the Super Circus AtariAge cart a couple weeks ago and while I'm awaiting its arrival I grabbed one of the old WIPs to look at and I noticed that at least that particular version shows driving controller support! Not sure if it made it into the final release as the purchase page just shows joystick and paddle. I don't know if there's anyone else like me, but I've been through a lot of paddle controllers, just can't keep them running smooth whereas I've still got my original driving controllers and they run perfect all these years (decades, sigh) later!

Very impressive. Too bad I'm so horrible at Pac-Man games! Even so, would love to add that to my collection! I'm another one keeping my eye on the XM module release too. I hope there are enough to go around for all of us! :-)

Longtime Arkanoid fan (from PC ports), finally downloaded this and gave this a shot on A7800. Wow. It may not be complete yet, but I'm blown away! Hoping you can get some time to complete and finalize it. This is a cart I would buy for sure (which is saying a lot, I don't have a lot of funds to spend on games, so am VERY selective)!

On my first computer we dropped in an original Adlib. Since the computer (XT clone) had integrated Plantronics graphics I guess you could say the sound card was bigger. 🙂 On my second computer, the SoundBlaster 16 ASP w/WaveBlaster was definitely bigger than the ATI Ultra Pro Mach 32 EISA video card.

In my area they were strong until the Internet really took off with the rapid adoption of HTTP. Prior to that a lot of the UGs were even Internet Service Providers in additon to just User Groups. You'd join the local club, go to meetings, then do SLIP dialup...

Joystick for sure. I hate, Hate, HATE gamepads. So annoyingly small. Even the ones with the little sticks, they just don't have enough resistance for my big hands.

Still in very good shape. Looking to find it a good home. $1, plus shipping.
Reason for sale is that the Centipede cart is failing. Flakes out after 30 seconds to a minute of play. Can include that too if you want it, but just planning on throwing it out.

I don't have the number from my old heavy sixer, but it was one of the first ones off the shelf in this area. May she rest in peace
(power supply ran amok and fried the unit just a couple years ago). -
For Sale: Space Shuttle - A Journey Into Space. Cart and manual are both in well-used/"fair" condition. Works just fine, just isn't the prettiest looking anymore
Not looking to make money on this deal, just find it a good home and cover my shipping.text or pic label i might have a slot for it in my home
It's the text label.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I never received an e-mail notification! Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] too!
