Well, see, I don't HAVE any 2 button controllers anymore, they all broke in catastrophic ways I'm trying to avoid having to buy anything...

What have you got that's not going to need the 2nd button? I only have a very few 7800 games. I currently already have: Donkey Kong Food Fight Galaga Ms. Pacman Pole Position II Super SkateBoardin Xevious I guess I'd be interested in anything I don't already have as long as it's 2600 controller compatible.

Last chance, save this cart before it goes in the trash. Works fine, label is in excellent condition, has directions. No box. I no longer have any controllers with the required 2nd button and am not looking for replacement 2 button controllers as this is the only game I have that requires it, AND I don't like sports and/or sports games anymore. January 31st, this cart goes away if no one wants it by then. I only want the cost of shipping out of it. I want it to go to a good home and not join the landfill.

There's several games that don't work on anything but the earliest 7800's. However, the 7800's that have the problem are very easily modified to rectify the situation Go snip-snip on one little capacitor and you're in business!

Problem is that with the "pause" button in the normal position, the primaries are "on". I can't get the countdown to start that way. I have to hold the pause button down (primary engine off) in order to get rid of the launch error code (4 I think?). Once I do that, I'm kinda stuck...

I sold my Genesis ages ago, but I had used the controllers with my 2600 and found them to work "OK" (other than joysticks are way better than those dumb button pads). Is the 7800 "2nd button" available on the Sega pads? (my last 7800 controller just broke in a non-repairable way).

I have the Remote Control Joysticks and am wondering what polarity they take on the power input. My 2600 power supply shorted out, wiping itself AND my old 6-button heavy out. However, I still have my 7800 and if I could get appropriate power to the joysticks I'd imagine I could still use them!

I've been searching around and read that I could just use the backup engines instead of the primaries since there's no color/bw switch. However, I'm not getting that to work? I can play the game if I hold down the "Pause" button all the time, but that gets old real quick What am I missing here?
