  1. Very cool @intellinate do you have any instructions on where to get the custom firmware and how to install it?
  2. I preordered 2 units. Was never really interested in the new games, my sole desire was to play the old games in a modern tv using wireless Intellivision like controllers. I lost the enthusiasm with all the delays and also when I learned that the original games would not be available at launch. I cancelled one unit after the first delay and now am thinking of cancelling the other one too. I really love my Ultimate Intellivision, it allows me to play my beloved childhood games in a modern tv, albeit with wired flashback controllers.
  3. Got it to work. I simply opened the rom in a hex editor and modified the first bite from 41 to A8 and now it runs perfectly. Thank you @mr_me
  4. Libretro (freeintv). I am trying this because I would like to be able to play SCBT with my wireless 8bitdo controller. I am able to do this running SCBT on Argon, but cant get it to work on my pi4 with libretro.
  5. Thank you @mr_me, I just noticed that when I try to launch SCBT I get this message on the bottom left of the screen: “Configuration Override Loaded”. Could this be the problem?
  6. Thanks @mr_me. Wow, that sounds very complicated to this old man’s ears (I am not tech savvy). So I guess I will have to abandon the idea of playing SCBT unless someone is willing to help make this format conversion. I will be happy to pay for this effort if anyone is willing to do it.
  7. Thank you @mr_me, can you please explain what you mean by a format conversion?
  8. I am trying with Jzintv and Librettro. All the official Intellivision roms run fine. I can also run some home brews like Ms Night Stalker and Super Pro Baseball. The ones I am not able to run are Super Chef BurgerTime (a screen flickers for one second and it goes back to the games list as described in a post above). MsPacman only gives me a black screen. Thanks for any help.
  9. that was his problem. I helped him solve that. Hi guys, I am having the exact same trouble with Super chef BT. I must have the unofficial version of exec.bin. Anyone care to help me? Thanks in advance.
  10. So I gave up on Openemu and instead installed jzintv on my Mac and the LTO Flash GUI guided by a great video from @ColecoJoethat I found in Youtube. It is working perfectly with the Flashback controller, coupled with the Retronic usb adapter and the special hackfile. Thank you mr_me.
  11. Thank you for your reply. I think it does, this is what I get from your link:
  12. Hi guys, looking for a little help getting to play Inty on openemu with the Flashback controller. I am using a Retronic Design usb adapter. When I plug it into my Mac openemu successfully detects the Flashback controller (it shows in the dropdown menu, please see attached image). But when I select the controller and launch a game the controller does not respond. What am I missing? Thank you for your help. UPDATE: I got it to work partially by trying a different usb port on my Mac. The problem I am now having is that when I try to map the Flashback controller buttons, some of them can not be modified (for example, button 3 always wants to be mapped as disk up command). I guess this has to do with the hackfile. I found a special hackfile in the Retronic Design website, but I dont know how/where to include such hackfile into Openemu. Any ideas?
  13. Thank you, this is the setup I was considering. Does the Ultimate PC Interface connect directly to the flashback controller or do you need a special adapter? I ask because I remember reading that the flashback controller is wired differently.
  14. Hey guys, what is the best way to emulate Intellivision on a Mac nowadays? What controller are you using and how do you hook it up? Any way to play with a wireless controller that provides a satisfactory experience? Thanks in advance for any advice.
  15. Do you know if it is possible to play Intellivision games in Nvidia Shield using RetroArch or similar? Thank you.
