  1. Yesterday at the Portland Comic Book show I bought some original artwork from the book "The Complete Guide To Conquering Video Games" and "Videogaming Illustrated" magazine. I'm keeping the Astrocade and Intellivision pieces but some of the Atari 2600 and Odyssey 2 pieces may be for sale/trade. Here's some pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22095768@N03/...57604543179638/ y-bot
  2. Hi! Did you follow these directions exactly? http://www.jfgoods.net/disksystem.html The part about lining up the head is really important. y-bot

  4. Do you have any M.A.S.K. parts for sale or trade? I've got a want list at work, all series 1 and 2 stuff. I have lots of extra stuff too but it's all loose and fairly common. y-bot
  5. It sold. Congratulations! Hey, I have a question about your comics. Now that you know they've been touched up is it obvious? y-bot
  6. I saw that. I printed some up and I'm going to program them. I was wondering if there are any really great retail games that I am missing out on. If you have the BASIC cart with the built-in phono jack you can hook a cable between that and your speaker/headphone output of your computer and play all these games: http://www.ballyalley.com/program_download...d_programs.html Or burn a CD and play them from a cd player. You don't need to type anything in. y-bot
  7. Go to http://www.ballyalley.com You can download BASIC games from your computer to your Astrocade. y-bot
  8. try this one: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZalottapinata qixmaster is a great seller!
  9. I looked at some lists of games and didn't see anything with part numbers like that. Maybe try emailing someone at smspower.com or some other Sega fansite. y-bot
  10. Youtube commentors make me not think much of humanity. There isn't a video with more than 100 comments that doens't degrade in to some racist/homophobic idiocy. What is wrong with people?
  11. I had several ADAMs and multiple tape drives years ago and I could never get one to work. I know at one time I was tinkering with 4 of them and still had no luck. I don't think they've held up very well. y-bot
  12. They definitely look like SG-1000/MK III games but I've never seen any with a yellow case like that. y-bot
  13. didn't see that someone already posted about the Pong trophy in the auction forum.
  14. Got the postcards today, thanks! I had my friend look at your WWI uniform and he confirmed what someone else said that the patch is for being wounded. He also said the leggings don't match the uniform and that it's not a captain's jacket, they are made slightly different and it looks like there was a different pin where that captain's pin is. He said you should sell the pants separately since they are size 38 and large size WWI uniforms are hard to find. He thought $50 was about what the lot was worth. y-bot
  15. I've never played the game but I like the movie. I wouldn't call it good but if you like Cloak & Dagger, Wargames, Over The Top, Karate Kid and other 80's cheez you'll probably like it. Mach III is a laserdisc jet game, right? I think I played that one. y-bot
  16. It's of "no comercial value" actually. I just noticed the typo. y-bot
  17. It weighs 76.8 grams and my regular Blueprint weighs 53.0 grams. The case is just like Solar Fox. I don't think I could get it apart without wrecking that label. Here's a close-up pic of the hole: y-bot
  18. Exactly my opinion. It's even numbered. It feels heavy, I'm pretty sure it's an EPROM. How do CBS carts come apart? Is there a screw under that torn part of the label? I'll probably experiment with another CBS cart today. I can at least compare weights with another Blueprint cart. y-bot
  19. Not sure why the pic isn't showing up for you. here's the URL: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i264/y_bot/IMG_4299.jpg I'm trying to build up my inventory for CGE. You going? y-bot Still 50-50 on going......depending on the dates......are you planning to sell the proto at the show?????? Probably. It's not something I need in my permanent collection, but it's kinda cool. y-bot Would you mind opening it first and scanning the inside? How does it come apart? The label is messed up in the center and I'm worried about making it worse. y-bot

  21. Someone who spends all day everyday at thrift stores and garage sales and then sells what they find to me. I work at an antique & collectibles store so I buy things from these people everyday. y-bot I briefly worked at "SAVERS" back in High School and remember "pickers" very well, although we never had a set name for them. They were very annoying, they would always try to come in the back room (employees only)while we were pricing stuff and look or they would just bum rush us when we wheeled out a cart of junk. Many of them would try to change price tags, steal, etc.. Sometimes we would see them lined out in the morning when they knew we were putting new stuff out and jump on our case right away when we opened the doors to bring more crap for them to pick through, bleh... This guy isn't really 100% picker because he does sell a ton of his own stuff. I respect him but most of them are really disgusting and I wish they wouldn't come in my store. y-bot
