  1. Hello! I just bought a collection of Atari 8-bit stuff and I am curious what these are worth? The Speeway Blast cart is a little discolored and the label has a dent in the back. I haven't tested the ATR8000 yet. It has lots of paperwork and some software for it. There is paperwork for the Co-Power 88 but I don't think it's there. It's not the piggyback board on the main unit, right? The ATR8000 case has a "64" sticker on it. There's some other unusual stuff too but I won't have time to go through it until after CGE. Thanks, y-bot
  2. My sister had the Smurfing Sing Song cassette when we were little. Now I have the pink toothbrush, blue toothbrush song stuck in my head. ybot
  3. What game is that shown before the Aquarius? y-bot
  4. Oh, I know. I don't think it was commercially released, I think it must be a salesman's sample or something. The only info I've ever seen is that someone had it for sale at a video game convention a few years ago and a few people say they saw it. No one knows who owns it or where it came from. I'd pay pretty good money for it. I'd also like to wee one of those color clones. y-bot It looked full production to me. Then again the guy had a whole RCA Demo kiosk too, so who knows? Tempest I hadn't heard the part about the Demo Kiosk, man I wish there were pictures. y-bot
  5. I'm sorry I don't have any to sell or trade at the moment. We get them in occasionally at my work and I'll let you know when we get some more. Here's a pic of my collection. If you come up with any extras I'm still looking for these in near mint condition: series 1 set 450a 453a 568b upgrade needed 597a 601a 607a 608a 613a 620a mini 13a upgrade needed any series of mini besides 1 I have a list of variations that I need as well but it doesn't make sense to me anymore. y-bot

  7. I love the Studio II. You just have to pretend it's from the 1950's when you're playing it and it will seem ahead of it's time. Anyone want to sell me Bingo? y-bot
  8. Some of the original artwrok that was at the World of Atari '98 musuem sold on Ebay a few years ago for not that high of prices. $200 each or so I think. I didn't see it until after the auctions ended. It was icwhen or something like that who sold them. y-bot
  9. Glad I finally got one recently and fisnished my 5200 collection (well, I need some boxes still but I have all the carts). Now I don't have to worry about it. I don't think it will go down unless a stash is found or they do some sort of reissue. y-bot
  10. I did a Google search for "That's Atari Music" and came up with a few people selling the CD I have and a double CD with vol. 1 & 2. They say it's from 2003 though so I'm not sure if those are reissues or if they are all from 2003. y-bot
  11. Yep, that's them. Thanks again! y-bot
  12. Are there screenshots of JVP games somewhere? I've never seen these two games: Keystone (unknown game with swinging vine and shooting bird "JVP"/Keystone Kapers "Intellivision""Canal 3"/Seaquest/unkown game with flying bird and sailboat in the background "JVP") Are they European games, hacks, or what? If anyone still wants close-up pictures please let me know. So what's the going rate for a common or rare Brazil 2600 cart? There's only a couple of completed auctions on Ebay for $8 and $10. y-bot

  14. I'm listening to it right now and it is pretty rad. The tracks are: 1~5 SUPER SPRINT 6~9 GAUNTLET/GAUNTLET II 10~14 PAPERBOY 15~19 ROAD BLASTERS 20~23 S.T.U.N. RUNNER 24~29 720 (S.E. COLLECTION) 30 SUPER SPRINT 31 GAUNTLET/GAUNTLET II 32 PAPER BOY 33 ROAD BLASTERS 34 S.T.U.N. RUNNER 35 720 It's dated 91-9-21, Scitron PCCB-00070, copyright Atari Games & Tengen Ltd., made by Pony Canyon Inc. The whole title is "That's Atari Music Vol. II -G.S.M. Atari Games 2-" The booklet is 20 pages long and has a more detailed track list explaining what each piece of music is, several pages of Japanese text, pictures of the fliers for each game, and the sheet music for Road Blasters and Gauntlet II. Right now it's going through all the voices from Gauntlet. "You just shot the potion", "extra armor", "don't shoot your friends on this level", etc. @Al-I'll send this with the common 2600 carts I'm sending you and you can archive it. y-bot
  15. Does this look like a legitimately produced music CD or do you think it's a pirate CD? At any rate, I'd be glad to archive it for you. How many tracks are on the CD? Do you have Volume I? ..Al I'm sure it's legit. I'll list the tracks later when I get home from work. I don't have volume I and I've never seen another volume II. There are thoudands of video game soundtracks on CD and record in Japan but I don't know anything about them so I usually just admire them (and their high prices) through the window of Mandarake in Tokyo. I don't even remember where I got this. toby
  16. If someone trustworthy wants to borrow it to archive it I would be willing to send it to them. I'm computer illiterate so I don't have the skillz to do it. y-bot
  17. I'm at work now but when I get a chance I'll trya nd psot the names. y-bot
  18. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. Please move it if needed. Has anyone seen this before? I bought it in Japan last year and forgot about it until I found it yesterday. I haven't listened to it but it appears to be the music from Atari arcade games from the late 80's. Thanks, y-bot
  19. I bought these years ago and I was wondering if any of them are rare. I'm thinking of bringing them to CGE to sell and I have no diea what they go for. When I bought them the only rarity list I knew of was the Digital Press guide and I think someof these weren't in there. I tried to look them up on the Atarimania site but I was having trouble finding some of them. Here are some pics: Keystone (Bobby Is Going Home "JVP"/Keystone Kapers "Intellivision""Canal 3"/Seaquest/Mr. Postman "JVP") Decatlon (Decathlon) Keystone Keypers (Keystone Kapers "Zirok") Boxing (Boxing "Dactari") Popeye (Popeye) Demon Attack/Homem Aranha (Demon Attack/Spider-Man) River Raid-Boxing-Tennis-Volley -TIPO 14- (River Raid/Boxing "Mania"/Tennis "Digivision"/Realsports Volleyball "Mania") Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong) Battle Zone (Battlezone) Tarantula (Spider Fighter) Montesuna/Girus/Star War III/Popeye (Montzuma's Revenge/Gyruss/Star Wars:The Arcade Game/Popeye) Spider Fighter/Laser Gates -Maxgames- (Laser Gates only) missing end label (listed on back) Choper Comand/Demon Attack/Enduro/Futebol/Keystone Kapears/Laser Gate/Pac Man/River Raid IV (Enduro/Pac-Man/Demon Attack/Laser Gates/International Soccer/Keystone Kapers/Chopper Command/River Raid-like game that says "Bermuda" at the bottom of the screen) 53-Video Pinball (Video Pinball) 8 em 1 (Laser Blast "Dynacom"/Freeway "Dynacom"/Air Sea Battle/Sky Jinks "Dynacom"/Basketball/Tennis "Dynacom"/Bowling/Boxing "Dynacom") Dynacom (Keystone Kapers/Megamania/Atlantis/Demon Attack/Missile Command/Frostbite/Berzerk/River Raid/Pac-Man/Seaquest/Pitfall/Space Invaders/Donkey Kong/Enduro/Frogger/Video Pinball) Apple Vision (Adventure/Air-Sea Battle) Dactar w/box (Name This Game/Checkers/Challenge Of Nexar/Laser Gates) Pengo (Pengo "Mania") Oink! 21. I'll be there with my girlfriend. I have a booth reserved and hopefully my friends are coming from Japan. We should have a similar setup to the booth we had in 2005. Look for the Y-bot/Billy Galaxy/Suteki booth and say hi. y-bot
  22. Reminds me of when I tried to dye all of my RC-10 parts black but I didn't make it strong enough and they turned out grey. I think only certain kinds of plastic can be dyed. y-bot
  23. It's a heavy sixer. I know that some people are confused about what is and is not a "heavy sixer" but I'm not. I've been collecting for 10+ years and I've owned more than 50 Atari 2600 consoles. The board says rev.1 c 1977. I'll take some pics later. y-bot here's some pics: It's pretty nice and it works! I've had 2 or 3 broken one's in the past but I think this is the first working one. I thought I still had those others but I can't find them.
  24. Just cleaned this one up. Model CX-2600, made in Taiwan, has the A/B hole and switch, S.N. T 0033750, "6 80" stamped in red. Also has a "Sears Reconditioned" sticker on the bottom and "7-29-82" written on the main sticker. Inside there are two stickers detailing the power jack and some other repair in 1982. y-bot
