I do not know how many were produced but I do know that they made more E.T. carts than they did 2600. The same with the Pac-Man carts. They too were buried. When asked "Why did you make make more carts than systems?" The atari manager replied "We thought people would want a second copy at their ski house." All Info from the book.... Some things to consider..... Sony's PSP coming out to compete with Nintendo's DS Not being able to play X-Box 1 games on X-Box 2 The Computer...... Many people say it's dieing. When a new game comes out for the PC such as Doom 3 you have to spend 100s sometimes 1000s of Dollars on upgrades to play it. I don't know too much about the market and everything but I would say the video game crash of 83-84 will repeat itself in the near future..... Lets say 2-3 years when the new consoles come out......... Also believe EA dominating the market will have an effect on the crash...

Is there anything else you would like to trade for those atari games. I am looking for any atari games I don't have and I don't have any SMS games to trade either.

I am looking for little plastic army men/vehicles/artillery/trees/anything that goes with them. The men are about 1 and a half inches tall. I only want the older ones, not the new ones. The newer ones are smoother than the old ones. I mainly want vehicles/artillery but anything will do. I do not want the tan ones, only green and grey. I can trade anything listed below for them. I'm 14 and I love to play classic games. I have an atari 2600, SMS, NES, SNES and a 7800 on the way. The classic systems and games especially atari are fun and easy to play. I never get mad when I die like I do when I play modern games sometimes. And another thing, they are alot cheaper. But I still like modern gaming too.

Just this weekend I picked up a 2600 and sega master system for 45$ Thats $22.50 a system. Also I found a lot of games at the same flea market. Theres also two other ones around St. Louis I go two maybe once a month.
