  1. The best MSX system would be the Panasonic MSX turbo R. This is the latest version of the MSX. But saddly also the most expensive one. The laserdisc addon. I can remember them, we use to have them at our school for educational software. I think most of these systems in the Netherlands where used for schools.
  2. The 4-in-1 is a offical sega release. I've got a boxed gamegear with a packed in 4-in-1 game cartridge. It has the following games: Columns, Pan-American Road Rally, Penalty Kick en Championship Tennis
  3. Last summer i had a nice find. I'v bought a game gear for 5 euro, a mastersystem with 8 games for 12 euro and a Philips Odessey2 for 3,75 euro. This was just my lucky day.
  4. You can also use a mastersystem power supply. 6. Hello, i'm looking for a offline database program to store all of my games in. Since i collect several systems it has to have a field that says witch system the game belongs to. I also want to include pictures of boxes, carts, manuals in it. Since i want to have as much info as possible on a game, the database should contain almost every possible item that is connected to a game. It may be a standalone db, or writin in excel or access. I hope that someone kan help me out.
  7. I think sometimes the rarity rate is misused to price a game. Since i live in the Netherlands, it's quit commen that games are fore sale (PAL games) that are rated using the atariage guide. Since the rarity guide only provides the rarity of titles in the US. Some easy to find games here are there fore marked rare here, while it's very easy to get hold of them. So i'm allways a littlebit caustios to buy a game that says rare on the guide, since it doesn't apply to europe.
  8. Just don't over rush it. When someone is very busy, it is easy to make mistakes. And a mistake with this would mean everything is lost forever. So just take your time to do this thing right.

    Joust P?

I'm sorry, but we are not wrong. Why the game says it is a NTSC game I don't know, could be mistyped. Maybe it is a label fault, made at the factory, or it is just a NTSC game dat isn't affected or alterd when played on a Pal machine.

    Joust P?

I've got the following games with the Pal marker on the endlabel: Missile Command (picture label) Pac-man (picture label) Ms. Pac-man (silver label) E.T. (silver label) Space invaders (picture label) Most others just have a Pal marker on the back of the cart, and some even haven't a Pal marker on them (but then again they might have come lose)
  12. I like the idee of Jagasian. I've searched the web alot and i have only found a handfull of programmable carts that can be programmed without a eprom burner. Unluckly they where all out off sales.

    Joust P?

The P of Pal stands beside the game name on the endlabel mostly when it is a Atari picture label. Sometimes this is also used on silver label carts. Mostly there's a P sticker on the back of the cart indicating that it is a Pal game.
  15. Yes, and if you stay really close to a attenna you can recieve cnn on your eye's.
  16. Is it possible for you to make a little manual about how to make this labels. I think i'm not the only one that is interestet in it.

  19. Great room. It's a gamers dream. I've you got plans of the mame cabinet, i'm to interestet in that. I was only wondering if the 2 sticks weren't to close to each other. Looks like one has to play left handed en the other one right handed.
  20. NTSC (National Television Standards Committee), PAL (Phase Alternating Lines) and SECAM (SEquentiel Couleur Avec Memoire) are different worldwide, generally incompatible television standards. Some short, not completely accurate information follows. what where freq/frames/scan lines ---- ----- ---------------------- NTSC US/Japan 60hz/30/525 PAL Europe 50hz/25/625 SECAM France & many others 50hz/25/625 So how does this affect Atari games? Each cartridge tells the 2600 when to generate TV line sync pulses. This means that using an NTSC cartridge in a PAL console, or vice versa, will cause synch pulses to be generated at the wrong frequency. The net effect of this is that some TVs will "roll" the picture, and may need the vertical hold control to be adjusted. Some TVs will handle the incorrect synch frequency transparently though.
  21. Dutch to I haven't come across any NTSC games yet. But then again i haven't come across any 2600 cart this year. I've took this part of text for the atarihq site but it maybe helping you: "Can we play U.S. games on our PAL 2600 Systems and vice versa? Sure, no problem. The games are perfectly compatible and interchangable. Only colors will vary (playing AcTiVision's Tennis on a blue court is actually pretty awsome). It's your TV-Set that could cause trouble. If you have an old big television (like Deleto) it doesn't care at all. Newer TVs will cause the screen to roll when other standard games are played. If your TV has a Vertical (for PAL ppl) or a Horizontal (for NTSC ppl) Pot Holder/Meter, you can adjust this until the rolling and flashing stops. " You could also try to connect your 2600 to a VCR. Maybe you're VCR has NTSC playback over PAL.
  22. november i'll be 30. Lookes like most of the 2600 collectors are somewhere arround or in the 30th.
