Hi, selling of my Magnavox CD-i 550. The model has the dvc already build in. I repaired the timekeeper battery, so it wil save gamedata. I used a cr2032 to repair it. The unit also comes with a controller and 5 games. This is a PAL unit and uses 230v. I replaced the connector on the powersupply, so it snaps in again. All games are scratch free, but some game cases have broken spindle holders. I live in the Netherlands so please asked the shipping costs first. Monitor not included.

Cannot remember if i have ever ordered from next-level, but they seem to be a legit company. They have a Dutch chamber of commerce number so they see legit.

I have a ti99/4a, but i do not have a powersuplly for it. Any change of testing it without the original power supply? Can i hack into the circuit on some spots, since it uses 19v ac, i assume it converts the power somewhere to dc for the mainboard.

I had a comx35. That used the RCA 1802, processor. Think it was only sold in the Netherlands.

I picked white, due to the fact our first pc had a white fosfor cga screen. I hated playing cga in color due to the magneta and cyan colors. But on a balck and white screen cga looked so much better. I also have fond memories using green fosfor screens due to our cpc464 having a green screen. Currently my only computer that still has a monochrome screen is my(was i just sold it) Commodore PC-1.

I love the msx. I use my Philips nms-8245 as my goto msx2 computer. I replaced the floppydrive with a 720k gotek floppy emulator and that works fine. Some day i plan to own a scc multicart. But for now i have other priorities. Im currently scaling down my collection, and doing so i just sold my Philips nms-8250 and Philips vg-8235. Both had a bad floppy drive. Sold them to a other collector here in the Netherlands for 100. So deals can still be have if you get lucky. In the netherlands we have marktplaats for selling stuff, and here you can find Philips brand msx2 computers pretty often for under 100. Only downside for those out of Europe is that they are PAL and use 220v. Gamesack did a show on the MSX very recent. May be nice to have a look. LGR also has some MSX videos as well as CGR. I really love the Konami games for the MSX. Sadly they become pricy. Would love to add Nemesis and Metal Gear to the collection, since i have fond memories playing these games at my friends place.

Loved the speed Beos had back in the day. One of my favorite os's. Also played a bit with os/2 warp and liked what i did see.

I got a nice collection of vintage computers and hardware collected in the last 1 1/2 year. Worked in the computer business from around 1997 to 2001. For years i did away with all my old hardware until 2 years ago when I regretted it. Since then I have a nice collection of computers and hardware including a Commodore PC-1 8088 a IBM ps/2 model 30 8086 and 80286. A 386, a 486 and a few pentium models. Got a 12mb voodoo2 sli setup. Got a awe32, awe64 and Logitech opl4 sound card. One day I hope to add a sb pro2, a Adlib and a s220 verite and a philips p2230 our first pc to my collection. Love playing with it and my home computers more then my consoles.

Most i have every spend on a single retro game was 60 euro for Solar Crusade for the CD-i. But that game is very hard to get. On the other hand, i refused to pay the crazy prizes people ask for Zelda's Adventure. I always said i would find that games somewere at a fleamarket for only 1 euro. And i did eventually. Games for the vectrex i'm willing to pay more for, because of the overlays.

You could try and check mobygames. Go to the game you want to check and then look at the coverart. A lot of times they have a scan of the disks with the number of disk.

I do collect for n-gage, but it is one of many systems i collect for.

In europe the later released videopac games are also mostly complete in box, due to the sturdy plastic clamshell packaging.

Your post made me wonder, so i check prices in the Netherlands and Germany, and yes indeed, prices have sky rocketed. 240+ euro for only the console. I wanted a spare, because mine has some trouble reading discs. But i think i just going to try and replace the laser unit, and see if it fixes the problems. I already fixed the reversed installed sound capacitors, and hacked a a500 keyboard for use with my cd32. But i mostly play games on my stock a500 with usb floppy emulator. I got really lucky with the cd32, got it for free when i bought my cdtv from the same guy for only 25 euro. It had a rusted backplate and some connecters had rust on them, but otherwise the console was in not to bad of a shape.

Nice looking. Did you put screenshots on the long sides of the box? Can't see them since you only took a picture of the short side of the box.

It's a fun little machine. Unfortunally, i have a dead 16k ram pack. Still need to replace it. I did the composite mod, because my rf modulator was shot. Best mod ever. Super clear images now.

Great video. I loved those dynamic flightgames. Man, Paul looked really creepy with that hair back then.

Hi Leonardo, Here are photos of the 4 sides of the Dutch Quest for the rings box. The bottom box is just a plain white box with no writing on it. Dimentions of the top of the box are 26,7cm long, 17,5cm wide, 4,5cm high. The bottom box is 25,4cm long, 17cm wide, 4,4cm high. Folded out the bottom so you can see how it is made.

Hi Leonardo, Will try to make pictures of the side and bottom of my copy of the quest for the rings. I would also like to help and translate the text to the Dutch version if that still needs to be done.

Tried to dive into the game years ago. Got the rom file from René to try and figure out how the game is supposted to be played, since i'm also into board games. The close i got to how the game mechanics would have to work was that it would have to be a crossover of Cluedo and Scotland Yard boardgames.

Got a pretty large collection of old pc systems. Love to play with them. Ranging from a bare Commodore PC1 with a 8088 and 360kb 51/4" floppydrive and 512Kb memory, to a few IBM PS/2 8088 and 80286 systems, up to a 80386 grey box with vga and sb16, to a few Pentium machines with speeds between 100 to 233mmx and dual voodoo2 12mb sli, gravis ultrasound,sb32 awe and sb64 awe gold and logitech soundman wave(opl4) hardware. Real hardware isn't always easy to deal with, because of irq problems and memory restrictions, but when setup it good, it is a blast to play with.
