  1. Have to play it someday, got the xbox version. I do like future tactics it's a nice game.
  2. Looks like it's extra hard to play because of the small black en white screen. Maybe it's looking better on a real screen. Must get myself a new 16k expansion. Mine is broken and with only 1kb not much can be done. Until now i only bought a c4cpc for my gx4000 and hopefully a cpc464 one day, and a floppydisk emulator for my msx.
  3. Titles that are only cd-i compatible are labeled "digital video on cd-i" Here is a list with cd-i only movies Black Rain (9/93) Coneheads The Firm (12/93) The Hunt For Red October (9/93) Indecent Proposal The Naked Gun 2 1/2 (9/93) Patriot Games (9/93) Posse Sliver Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (9/93) Top Gun (9/93) Wayne's World (2/94) White Christmas (9/93) The Addams Family (3/94)
  4. One of the biggest differences in the NES version is that Metal Gear isn't present to battle. Instead you have to blow up a super computer. After killing the guards it's easy to blow up, but in the MSX version you have to place charges in a specific order while being under continuing fire. Making it much harder to beat.
  5. There are new free releases so every now and then. Also wip files are up on the videopac.nl forum. And since i don't think a new batch of the c7060 is available the c7051 is now the only other option next to the 233-in-1.
  6. Also missing for the Odyssey2 the c7051 the succesor of the now discontinued c7050. The c7051 is a multicard with built in flashmemory, so you can add new games to the cart. The cart can hold up to 63 games, and included with the cart is a zip with 268 games. It's menu driven so no setting dipswitches to select a game. Can be order by Rene_g7400 on the videopac.nl forum http://videopac.nl/forum/index.php?topic=2492.0
  7. Somebody at cpcwiki forum is printing cartridgeshells for the c4cpc, here is the thread: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/
  8. Seems to mee a nice system, but i don't own one and never played one, since they weren't official release in my country. As for loose hucards, you can store them in those basebalcard holders.
  9. Been to 3 fleamarkets today and found some nice stuff. 5 years of power unlimited magazines. This is a Dutch magazine i bought a few times back then. Nice thing is this is from 1994 to 2000 so it has a lot of info on those old pc stuff, sega, nintendo, 3do, cd-i. Also found 3 cd-i titles. De zaak van Sam, Titanic an interactive exploration and Dominos. Bart Simpon's escape from camp deadly. And 2 boxed pc games: star wars x-wing vs tie fighter the academy expansion and hunter hunted. Also found a nice joystick for the nes. A quickjoy ni-4 with autofire.
  10. Made a box for my c4cpc, using an old dvd shell. Once i get a cartridge shell, makes switching the gx4000 on a bit easier since the dustcover is now blokking the powerswitch, i will need a bigger box. But for now i think it's great. Uses some artwork from here and from gx4000.co.uk.
  11. Cannot choose, i like all my consoles, even if they only have one game to play. I love them for different reasons.
  12. I have a not working commodore pc10-III, need to see if i can fix it. I also have a p100, with a gus and a nice videocard, and a p233 mmx, with a 12mb monster and a matrox g200. Love old pc's.

  14. Recieved my c4cpc today, and it's everything i need for my gx4000. Finally i can play more games then only Burnin' Rubber. I say it's a must have cartridge if you own or going to buy a gx4000.
  15. The 233 in 1 is now sold by Packrat: http://www.packratvg.com/o2multi.html
  16. I ordered one. It's on it's way. Going to use it on my gx4000.
  17. I think the oldest game i bought myself and still have would be Ferrari Formula One by E.A. That i bought in 1989 for pc. We had a pong before but that one is gone. We also had a cpc464 but i only had 1"backup" game for it.
  18. Have a look at this video. Think he is telling how you can buy games.
  19. Everything you need to know about hardware or homebrews can be found on the videopac forum.
  20. A good source for all the different systems is : http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/pg70-1292_vc4000.htm#page=reviews . I own the audiosonic pp-1392. Tought i had the 1292. The 1392 is basicly the same as the 1292, but it has a built in poweradapter.
  21. You mean the emerson arcadia 2001. This isn't a vc4000 compatible. It uses the same processor, but the graphics chip is an upgraded version. It's not compatible.
  22. Maybe you should look better? The home computers did have pretty advanced games, programmed by big companies. Take a look at the MSX. Great games from konami like Metal Gear, Vampire Killer( castlevania).
  23. No, you're not wrong. I just wanted to say that there are different kinds of packagings. One that uses different screenshots of different systems that the game is available and that is compatible with just one system. And combo boxes that have screenshots for different systems and contain the software for those systems, like my box for bionic commando that is compatible with amiga and dos.
