As most of you may know, tomorrow we celebrate the 40th birthday of Intellivision! On December 3, 1979 the very first Intellivision console hit the market and was sold in California.

To commemorate our anniversary we are planning to release a short Augmented Reality Moon Patrol game demo.  But also on the list is a video of our new controller, new screenshots, new special merchandise, the first list of developers creating games and more.

Please make sure to sign up to our mailing list at IntellivisionAmico.com if you haven't already done so.

    Thanks!

Even our cakes are updated and reimagined!   :D

Do the cake images have secrets that you cannot divulge too? Like Amico will be tasty as well as fun?  :) Almost December 3rd..

But by god does he do ‘em well. Tempest 2000 and Tempest 4000 are incredible. Can’t say I’ve ever played 3000 as I’ve never even seen a Nuon... but no, he makes other games too, haha.

Tempest 3000 is THE reason for having a NUON. There is an emulator for the Nuon. Nuance.  I haven't tried it in a few Generations of Processors.. It played.. But was very slow.

Looking forward to the announcement tomorrow... Have my card with me :)

Absolutely!  It's one of the 12 licenses I acquired from Atari.  Exclusively on Amico.  :)

We haven't started it yet though... but it's going to be super cool with the disc I believe!

Not that you didn't already have it... You just didn't know it. I already have the T-Shirt.. Now I have to get a matching console. If you tell me Adventure, Star Raiders, Warlords or any game made by the original Activision team, I'll have to eat ramen for a while.. But I think it will be worth it.

    Hi Tommy.

What I like the most is physical game, and I am happy that we will have a couple of them with Amico. :)

The only thing I dislike about it, is when we have to change the cartridge, DVD, or Blu Ray.

Sometimes it's turning me off to play it ! ( Lol, I am more and more lazy !! )

We don't know how exactly the physical game will be for Amico, but I was wondering...

Will it be possible to have access to those game without plugging or unplugging ?

Example, could it be accessible by wifi, or this sort of thing, like an object at 5 feet from Amico will be playable ?

Maybe you can't tell us for now and we will have to wait June 2020 ? :)

    Thank you.

For the physical Copies.. maybe you can include a "download code".  Can't wait to see what the physical games look like. Even if you use Micro SD cards with a plastic shell to make it look like an old INTV game.. I wouldn't argue.  Same with the Game packaging. Would love to see a throwback to the old Boxes. Especially if you can recreate/update Imagic and Activision boxes.

  5. Hi all,

I have the original Battlesphere. Complete. In box... I think my original receipt is still in the box. Everything clean. I just have to start trimming down my Vintage game collection..

    CD-i

    CD-32

    7800

    2600

No video Vectrex... sound works fine. (My very first internet purchase ever back when I had a 14.4 modem).

    Neo Geo...

All will be going as well. (And a ton of games for each).

When the wife says it's gotta go.. Figured I'd start off with this...

I've heard a wide range of prices.. I'd love to get a good price for it.. But Just as important.. I want someone to have a good home..

Let me know if anyone is interested.

    Thanks!

  6. I'm trying to get rid of a few other things first.. If I can't get what I need... Then BS goes up on the auction block. Hate to do it. But for some reason, my kiddo comes first.

    I'll keep u all posted.

Thanks for all the kind words... Both publically and privately

  7. Hey All,

It's been ages since I've posted anything.. I don't even remember what my last posting was about...

Circumstances and my child's teeth may require me to sell off my Battlesphere cart. I love the game.. But my little dude comes first. Sooo I wanted to acution it off. The game plays great. The cart/box is in fantastic shape. Will provide pics of everything if needed.

The last thing I want to do is turn to ebay. I'd prefer to send it to a great home. So I came here. (My favorite Atari site). I've visit often. But haven't been in the forums in a while.

Before actually starting the auction, I wanted to make sure that I'm following all the rules of the forum. Let me know what I should and shouldn't do. (Didn't see anything re: rules).

    Thanks!!!

    Steve

  8. Hey all,

So last week about this time, I told the wife that I was goin to the bank and get some cash for CGE. I was sooo excited that it was in my neighborhood. I saved a ton of cash. Hoping for a few things.

Mostly, I wanted the USB joystick adapter from AtariAge.

Get a couple of games from the AA store.

Pick up the retroradio archive DVD.

    The Howard Scott Warshaw video.

    Hopefully replace my 3do.

    Maybe pick up an 5200.

    Maybe an Astrocade.

Some new carts that I might see.

After walking up and down the room several times, I saw no sign of AA there. Bummer. The one 3do unit at the show was gone. Bummer. Couldn't bring myself to purchase the games from the place that was selling Skelton + and such. Bummer. Wanted to pay for the DVD of the CGE while I was there. Couldn't. Bummer.

On the bright side, I did pick up the retroradio DVD. Once Apon Atari. Had a great conversation with Howard Scott Warshaw. Laughed when David Crane and two of the other Activision guys walked up to one of the boothes and the person talking to them had ZERO clue. Enjoyed the Museum. Watched Shane Monroe interview someone. Never got a chance to say "hola" to him. Enjoyed seeing the xgamestation. picked up some other stuff.

I didn't want to be a total dork and bring my digital camera, little did I know that I would have been in some good company. Especially in the museum.

I come back and decide to search these forums to find out why AA wasn't around. I read that there is a "rift" between some people. Instead of trolling the forums and search out why, I figured I'd just plain ask all the staff at Atari Age: Any chance of being there next year? Whatever happened between all of you, please toss it aside. I would love to see you there. Settle the differences.

    Steve
