  1. I think we'll get a new Ship date. I'm sure he's heard it from us.. That is more than fine with us. I'm sad for Tommy as this is important to him. But regardless of how we feel about lockdown vs Opening. Masks Vs. Karens.. Sorry meant to say Vs No Masks. I think we can all agree that The Amico team's health and safety is way more important than a ship date. Although bucking compliance with California does garner free headlines. (Even pretending to). Again.. Don't want to put you all in any danger. I think the 8/4 video will be more about games than anything else. Loads more of the Launch games being shown for the first time. More detail on games we've already seen. Drop a few games in that we didn't know about. (Both Launch and future). Announce the next round of games that are coming up. (maybe some video for them). Some things that Tommy has hinted at over this last 6 months to a year like: Wouldn't that be something - The game Wouldn't THAT be something - The other game Wouldn't that BE something - The Parnership Tron Wouldn't Tron That Tron Be Tron Something Tron - The Tron A special game about falling into holes and picking up small peanut butter candy dots. I won't go on.. Physical packaging details. Physical Media A Surprise or two. (Or 20). Maybe some behind the scenes of what he was welding on the last video. One beauty shot of a shelf with all Amico games on it.
  2. Maybe the Rock band Hmmm is part of the "accessories" that Tommy mentioned. Wait... Will there be a Sears Amico?!?!? Nasa... Hmmmmm. I know Space Shuttle was Activision. Didn't Avalon Hill have a Shuttle game? SpaceX game? (Avalon Hill had some good (board) games). Tron... Well we all know how a lot of us feel about Tron.. (Shameless plug for the under appreciated Tron: Uprising cartoon). Tommy's Welding mask... an Amico welding game?!?!?! OR Tig Welder, the attachment! OOOOOOOoooooo IntyIII - Tommy already has plans for a 3rd iteration of the Amico. (The 2nd being the Vectrex).
  3. This was more of a play on words.. Troll Hunter... For some reason my head went way back to this flyer. And a bit of wishful thinking on my part. Some of the never finished Coleco games looked amazing for their time. Tommy sees these things and some end up in the Wonka book. Then end up on your screen sometime later.
  4. As the super non-official title giver for this forum... I dub the - "Vice President of worldwide Troll Hunting". Go forth and slay. Do so in your Amico Track Suit! Here is a very early mock up of the game that was going to the ColecoVision.. The Amico version will be much better. ' Forgot to add - Look the Amico CAN do 3D!
  5. We could be paid shills... I'm all for it! When you become an employee/shill, I can imagine that you get when you start: A Computer. at least 2 Monitors. Stapler. Pens/Pencils. When released, The special Employee/Shill Edition of the Amico. (Color NEON GREEN). 65" Monitor for the Amico. Free Access to all games. A water bottle. Amico Track Suit. An official "I'm a Shill for Tommy" set of business cards. We would all have imaginative titles. Curly Q would be "Director of Strategic Image Manipulation". OEB Pete would be "VP of Positive Thinking". Of course Intellivision Master would be "Senior Vice President of Getting Media out fast". The title had to be changed as the original title of "Getting S^*t out fast" offended some person in Oregon. Please don't take offense to that Oregon. I would be ecstatic to be be part of an Easter Egg. Credits someplace in the consoles settings. Or someplace in our favorite games.
  6. Not your normal announcement! That is why I'm enjoying this process! Looking forward to the fun!!!! You know Tommy, you should loosen up..
  7. With all this focus on the games. What's coming out. When? When will we see more? Will CurlyQ pack tommy in the baseball diamond someplace? You know important stuff. I was thinking this morning about the, not much has been talked about, Soundtracks that are included on the system. Will it be only playable via the Amico? Can I download it and listen to it on my ipod/Zune/Android/iphone/MP3 walkman/minidisc player? If they are only playable on the Amico, no big thing, I'll have to get an external battery. Some duct tape. Figure a way to connect up some headphones. (Bluetooth?) and carry it all in a baby bjorn. So I can groove while walking. Speaking of walking and fitness in general. Although not the biggest sellers, will there be any "Ring fit" or "exercise/Wii fit" type games on the Amico? I know Tommy has been talking about Accessories and such. Would be neat to see something like that. Done Amico-style. Amicocise has a nice ring to it. Get some of us older people off of our ever expending rear-quarters! Can't wait for more info !!!!
  8. These are just the start. I think we can expect more. NHL. NFL. Whatever the league is for Curling? Another ACL? Thanks Tommy!
  9. The way this question should have gone: Q: How much of your personal money have you put into this project? A:Noneya. Q:Noneya? A:Yes noneya. Nonya dang business! https://lmgtfy.com/?q=noneya+urban+dictionary&iie=1
  10. Not quite Amico related.. But this is certainly cool.. https://www.engadget.com/lego-nintendo-nes-console-set-132354763.html
  11. Ouch on Yars Revenge and Star Raiders. I don't want to say they suck.. How about: they do "inhale vigorously"!
  12. Yes to all those questions! I was also wondering if we would play his son at some point in the game ! ? 🙄😊 Wait..Just thought of this: Use the Motion controls and play as the stunt cycle!
  13. Question about the Evel Knievel game: Will there be a mode to play through all of Evel's jumps? Would love to have a "Career mode" that starts from Lake Moses. Going all the way to the Sharks in Chicago. Also is there a possibility that this will this be a physical game?
  14. You are forgetting Llamasoft's TXK on the PS Vita. That was a fun one!!! There are a few of us that have mentioned having Mr. Minter work on the Tempest for Amico. No commitment yet. But that doesn't mean we won't get a "Wouldn't that be something?" moment, soon.
  15. Yeah.. I can see why Street fighter would not fit. Same with most of the other fighting games. Although Divekick would be a hoot... More of a parody than a true fighting game. I didn't think Metal Slug would fit.. But I'm not going to argue!
  16. Hey Tommy, Did you ever address if you would allow games like Metal Slug or Street Fighter on the system? I'm not much of a fighter fan, but there are a lot of people that do like them. I doubt things like Mortal Kombat or Killer Instinct games could make it on Amico. But Super Street Fighter or a brawler like King of the Monsters may fit your guidelines. Just wondering.
  17. Viewpoint is a very fun.. But sometimes frustratingly hard game. I think of it like an 2.5D R-Type. I had it on the AES. Thumbs up for me. One of @OEB_Pete videos someone mentioned Sinistar... I also think it may have been brought up several hundred pages ago. Maybe even by me. But just to put it back in everyone's minds. Yes. This is another one that needs to be on the Amico.
  18. Now we need one that is - Missed the Founders Edition but have a VIP! Fantastic work CurlyQ!
  19. Had to decide on a few of these But here goes: Night Stalker - Need to see more from Cloudy Mountain first. Armor battle Baseball Cornhole Safe Cracker - Same as above. Need to see more. Evel - Just because Missle command
  20. I got a pair of aces and you throw down a royal flush - forgot about this one, such a cringe classic of scifi. To be fair... This was pure luck. No skill on my part. Somehow I had the Krofft Supershow theme stuck in my head. And all the wonderful shows that would make amazing Amico games. HR Puffinstuff. Lidsville. ISIS. Hinting to Tommy.. You could probably get license for cheap. I'd love to see an adventure game based on the The world of Sid and Marty Krofft Amusement park in Atlanta. There is very little out there on it. But it sounded like it could only come from the 70s. I thought Arc II was part of one of the Krofft shows. Found it.. Then shortly after.. The postings with the pics happened. I was playing catch up with postings. I won one hand. I think I know who would take the rest. We need Krofft games on the Amico.. That would really set you apart from the rest. Go REAL Retro. That is just a start. I can think of may other Kids shows from then that would make good games. Just the intro to Vegetable Soup would be amazing to see.. Let alone anything based on the show itself. Apologies in advance for those adventurous enough to click that last link.
  21. I totally remember when I watching that lol I see your space RV and give you Arc II, Complete with a Jetpack and a talking monkey.. Enjoy.
  22. I know Tommy has mentioned that they are starting on the next round of game development soon. And we have a good idea about what is coming on Launch Day* and soon thereafter. I'm hoping that there will be a few of these kind of moments: "Wait.. He never told us that"! I say we start hinting at what we'd like to see. Then count the WTBS's we get from Tommy. I'll start and get these out of the way first: More of the Atari licenses. Tempest, Adventure, etc. *Whenever Launch day happens. We'll be here.
