Nice thing about DIY haircuts for me. Not that I am getting better at it, because I'm not. But I'm getting more accepting of my bad haircuts, which is almost as good!
-
Yours takes more talent to cut than mine. I have been doing a simple buzz for about 20 years. Set the height and go. I have changed my facial hair a few times within that period though.

I'm #325 and I just got my shipping notice. -
Amazing already, Andrew! Love the smoother scrolling and extra frames of animation on the "tiles". Cheers, Ben P.S. Huzzah!

This looks great, Carl! Ordered!

Cool. Do you need two pads for multiplayer on a tv? Or can player one use the stick on the unit itself?
-
When connected to a TV, can one player use the controls on the unit itself, and the 2nd player use the arcade stick?
-
Sadly, from what I've read, the only controllers that work are: The Official Astrocity Mini Pads The Official Astrocity Mini Pads Sticks The JP Megadrive Mini 6 button pads

This is amazing! Already a HUGE improvement! If I may humbly suggest adding AtariVox support for Bleeped "Cursing"? Cheers, Ben -

Networking two Ataris using Atari 850s for MIDI Maze
legeek replied to legeek's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
FujiNet seems like Magic to me! Do you still get the ERROR: I/O timeout when playing on a local network? Thanks! Ben -
Networking two Ataris using Atari 850s for MIDI Maze
legeek replied to legeek's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yeah what price would make sense? Also what about selling a KIT with instructions, to reduce labor? At a certain price point it could make more sense to go the FujiNet route, depending on what other stuff a user might want to do. -

Sweet! If you get enough interest, I would be in for TWO. Cheers, Ben -
Networking two Ataris using Atari 850s for MIDI Maze

Ah, so I am barking up the wrong tree. Thanks! -
Hello and sorry if this has been answered before (I could not find this particular question answered via search). Having tooled around in MIDI Maze with bots, it seems like live players would be much more fun, yet MIDI Mate interfaces are expensive, or require some DIY assembly beyond my skill set: https://ataribits.weebly.com/midi.html (These seems really cool though!) Considering Atari 850s are much less sought after, how hard is it to network two Atari 8-bits using two Atari 850s and an RS-232 cable for playing MIDI Maze? Has anyone gotten it working, and -- assuming the various hardware is in working order -- is it as "plug and play" as it sounds? Thanks! Ben

legeek replied to MacRorie's topic in Atari Lynx
Having played around with it a bit, there are TWO levels! If you select an odd numbered starting level, you get level one... select even, and you get level two. Thanks again for make repros available. 😁 -

This is awful, 2020 continues to take and take. Thank you Curt, for all you've done for Classic Gaming. Rest in peace.

I really like 5200 Choplifter with the original controller. With analog, I have a fighting chance of avoiding the satellites.

Amazing work Omega! I always found the 2600 version of Venture to be kind of meh, but you've transformed the game into one of my favorite arcade conversions. I'm really excited this is getting a cart release, it's a DAY ONE purchase for me! Cheers, Ben
