Anybody out there?

You can download Game Room and the "game packs" for free, you can then play a free one time 10 minute demo of every game. So to see for yourself, it's only a potential waste of your time... The emulation seems good to me, all in all, but I've heard some of the titles are a bit off, but there were titles I had never played in the arcade. I have purchased Megamania and I plan to get Centipede and Time Pilot.

Heh. Think I oversold it Jess. I meant more as an example of where Game Room could shine later on. Providing arcade games that aren't on any compilations.

I loved both Mass Effect 2 and the original, but I guess it depends on what you are looking for in games... I am a big RPG fan and enjoy a good Sci-Fi Yarn. The story bits and their interactive nature, was pretty great. EDIT: I agree, the larger story was better in the first game. The 2nd one was more about expanding the game "universe" and getting to know your squad.

For what it's worth, yeah, Game Room is most likely a shakedown of our wallets for games we already have (particularly the console stuff), but to its credit, you download the packs for free and you can try all the games first for about 10 minutes. I can easily figure out if I feel like paying for a game in that amount of time. I do plan on getting Centipede, it plays well with the analogue stick and the ability to rewind mistakes makes it more enticing to go for the Fleas and Spiders. I'd like to grab Megamania, as well. And maybe I will actually finish Pitfall! (damned Scorpions!) If and when they release stuff that I'd like, that is not on compilations (Mr. DO!'s), I will definitely be interested.

Looking for some J360 SHMUPS, would love to trade Ikaruga or Under Defeat...
