Howdy All,
I have a Crazy Climber NTSC (near mint, cart only) for trade. I'd like to trade it for Rez for the dreamcast (Euro or Japan complete), or Saturn Burning Rangers (US Complete). I'd also trade it for any of the following NTSC Atari stuff: Gravitar (silver label), Rubik's Cube, or Xenophobe (with manual). More than open to other offers, I collect 2600, then nearly everything NES and later...
I also have a Best Electronics Quadrun proto. Not sure of its collectable value (if any) so I'm just taking open offers...
I will post pictures of both items soon...

I recommend:
ICO - first game to me that really felt next gen and not a retread of a PSX game.
SSX - really awesome snowboarding game and since SSX Tricky came out you can get the original cheap...
Ridge Racer V - the best sequel to the original...
I haven't played some of the other recommendations like FFX, GTA3, etc... but here are some I would try before you buy...
Star Wars Star Fighter - fun while it lasted, but slightly dated.
Spy Hunter - a solid game, but a little too by the book (I got bored half way through)
Armored Core 2 - good if you like Armored Core, but ultimately too much of the same (the last level is also devilishly hard!)
-
Speaking of trippy playfields, it's too bad the original 8-bit Space Taxi never had a 2600 equivalent. Here here!!!

I vote MM, but I like VP a lot as well.
I also like Pinbot & Highspeed on the NES and Pinball Dreams + Pinball Fantasies on the Amiga...

I mean, I like ebay. It's a "legal" black market, like in Raiders with the raving loonie...

Hi I have a Stella gets a new brain CD second edition, I'd like to sell or trade since I already have a first edition. If you have a supercharger this CD has all the Starpath games on it with a nice manual...
For trades I would be interested in Atari 2600, Lynx, Jag, Saturn, Turbo Grafx, Dreamcast stuff...
Or will sell for $10 plus shipping...

I'm mainly looking for reviews of 2600 or atari games I haven't reviewed yet, but really I'll take reviews for any "dead" systems...
I'm looking for a paragraph or two about why you like or dislike the game and then ratings of 1-5 on Graphics, Sound, Control, Depth, and Overall. The first four catagories being relative to the capabilities of the system, and the Overall catagory being how much fun was it (1 unplayable, 2 spotty but okay, 3 good fun, 4 great, 5 WOW! I wet myself!)
Thanks!

Hi all,
Just thought I'd ask again. I'd love any reviews for my le geek website...
I'd also be willing to do a review exchange with another site...

Hello all,
I've finally updated my le geek website, and seeing as the major updates are 2600 related, I thought I'd post it here.
I have four new reviews: Dark Mage, Megamania, Phoenix, & Winter Games.
Also, I've updated the Atari 2600 game variations guide with nine new entries including a mock up of what one might have looked like for Indy 500.
Cheers,

have you looked at ncsx.com or tronixweb.com?

Howdy All,
I've set up a list of my extra stuff I'd like to get rid of. It's mostly extra Atari 2600 Manuals with a few Atari and Nintendo games thrown in...
http://abscape.org/eben/videogames.htm
for trades I'm looking for Atari Manuals I missing and/or Raiders of the Lost Ark in good condition.

Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions...

Atari 70s has since contacted me about refunding the difference which is above and beyond the call of duty... I'll follow up after I receive it.

Hi All,
Just a warning about buying from Atari 70's. I bought a large package of stuff from him and half of it got lost in the mail. Now he won't return my e-mails and IMs. I guess I'm SOL.
To be fair though, I didn't request the packages be insured, so take that into account...

Welcome to Atlanta!
There's a flea market in Athens that has a guy will a bunch of atari games. He knows which ones to put on ebay though, unfortunately... I don't have the address handy, but I think the place is called J&P or something like that...

Isn't My Golf pretty good? Otherwise I guess it's time to fire up a Nintendo or Psx for Golf, NES Open, or Hot Shots 1 or 2...

I'm still game if anyone wants to pick a copy for me

If anyone can round up an extra copy I'd be happy to pay for it. I figure it's worth a shot to ask. No worries either way. I have a Stella gets a new brain CD for a partial trade...

Great PS2 games that aren't sequels?
in Modern Console Discussion
Posted
Howdy,
What are some PS2 games that are great/fun/etc that aren't just sequels to older games (i.e. Gran Turismo 3, Metal Gear Solid: SOL, Final Fantasy X)?
The two that come to mind for me are SSX, and Ico...
Any others come to mind?
Cheers,
le geek
