  1. Bring back Activision Quest!!! I had a pretty good Seaquest score. Heh. If you want "IRON MAN" Activision, we should do Megamania next! Cheers, le geek
  2. My top five are Lemmings, Blue Lightning, Warbirds, Rampart, and Shanghai... le geek
  3. Andrew, I've noticed on my cart that the screen does jump a bit vertically when moving a block around, but is still quite playable. It sounds like you've already fixed the problem though... I truly appreciate the amount of work you've put into this release and would be happy to donate some money to help offset your loss... Cheers, le geek
  4. I have a chopper command and a skiing you can have for shipping... email me: [email protected] le geek

    Dark Mage

I finally finished it, and I have the 8K version. I got the "end part one" as well. I was stuck because I gave the gold coin away, before I used it elsewhere. I never found a use for the penny or the hammer though. Cheers, le geek

    Dark Mage

Weird! Maybe I ate the salmon? LOL. Is your cart have a standard white Hozer label? I think the 4K version would say BETA on it, but I'm not sure...

    Dark Mage

The hammer was always in the inventory. I found the penny on the beach outside the castle... heh, le geek

    Dark Mage

Hmmm... There are both 4k and 8k versions, but isn't the goal to give the rose back to the king? Maybe it just has a lame ending? The last thing I do is give the artist the black paint and he then paints a rose and gives it to me, but I can do anything after that... any hints dark stan??? le geek

Anyone solve it yet? Besides Eckhard heh, le geek
  10. Howdy, Would any kind soul with both a scanner and the color manuals of Berzerk, Atari Video Cube, or Super Breakout be willing to make a large scan of the games variations section? It would be for my variations guide located here... http://www.abscape.org/legeek/f_gamevar.htm thanks, le geek

  12. Hello all, I am getting ready to update my le geek site soon and am wondering if anyone would like to write a game review or two. I know a lot of us have our own review sites, so no harm done if the isn't interest http://abscape.org/legeek/ Cheers, le geek email: [email protected] [ 03-01-2002: Message edited by: legeek ]
  13. Just FYI, ALL Cubicolors were signed by Rob Fulop... Cheers, le geek
  14. Wow, My range is from FREE to around $500(only once). My average is probably around $5-10 per cart... BTW Moycon... J+J's Flea in Athens has a vendor with a large, but mostly common stash of carts for a buck each. Unfortunately (for us, not him) he knows which to eBay! It's funny, he used to have a videogame store off Jimmy Carter blvd near 85, back when I was first really getting into collecting (around 93-94) and he didn't stock any atari stuff... 15. My folks got an Atari VCS in the early 80's pre-crash(1981?), but after they came down in price. I remember having Pac-man, Frogger and Championship Soccer. I later got a VIC-20 a few years later which led to a C-64 -> Amiga 500 -> Amiga 2000. I still played the Atari often until I left for College in 1992... Many of my 2600 games were bought in the store new (at post crash prices). I bought a Lynx when they went down in price. I sold the Lynx later to get a Jaguar. I then sold the Jaguar for a Genesis/32x setup when Checkered Flag sucked and Doom locked up on my unit. I had a Colecovision for awhile but sold off the games after the system died. I slowly got into more systems after they were dead or dying over time. Summary: Atari 2600 (new) -> unit died replaced w/ 2600jr Vic-20 -> C-64 Amiga 500 (new) -> Amiga 2000 (new) Lynx (new) -> Jaguar -> Genesis/32x combo Sega CD Playstation -> Playstation 2 (new) N64 (new) Dreamcast (new) Jap Hello Kitty Dreamcast (new)-> Turbo Duo w/ Turbo Express Bought later: NES, SNES, replacement Jag, Jag CD, Saturn, Gameboy Color, 3D0, replacement Lynx Cheers, le geek

  17. Howdy all, I noticed a Cubicolor for auction on eBay and as a previous owner of one, it appears legit, but way out of my price range... http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?V...item=1334842202 Just FYI... le geek

  19. What about a Track and Field controller? Cheers, legeek
  20. quote: Originally posted by Thomas Jentzsch: Hacking for paddle control is nearly impossible, because you have to constantly poll a register inside the normally very tight kernel display code. I've tried hacking Sprintmaster too, but you need one byte of RAM to remember the previous state of the driving controller. Unfortunately I coundn't find any. Bummer Thomas! I'm impressed that you've already tinkered with the idea though... Cheers,
  21. Howdy, How hard would it be to hack atari games to use different controllers? Specifically paddle controllers for Off the Wall, and driving controllers for Sprintmaster. Both of these games would benefit greatly from having the 'proper' controller instead of the joystick. My hat's off to anyone up to the challenge! legeek
