I really like blue lightning, rampart, stun runner, lemmings, the surfing part of california games, shanghai, hard drivin, and warbirds. chips challenge, lexis, roadblasters, and blockout are pretty good too... le geek

I knew the songs! But I'll let others guess; there is a common "theme" to the different songs BTW. heh -le geek P.S. Looking forward to the game, it should be sweet! Good luck fellas!

Wow, this is quite a loaded topic. All I have to say is I'm very proud of you guys for not asking any female atari fans to "bend over" and..., "Moycon, quit milking a dead horse!" Cruisin fer a bruisin... -le geek [ 12-23-2001: Message edited by: legeek ]

Yeah, SwapUSA sells 2600 carts, but they're a little pricey. They also had some 5200, and Lynx carts last time I was there. A good alternative to Funcoland, as they carry more stuff and are import friendly. The store I go to is off Roswell road just north of 285... Thanks all for the tips so far! Cheers, -le geek

Howdy, I've noticed there are number of folk on the message board with Atlanta as their location. I was just wondering if there where any good flea markets, thrift stores, etc to go to for cart hunting... It's been my experience that the thrift stores and pawn shops in Atlanta are pretty dry for atari stuff... However, I am planning on checking out the big Athens flea market soon... le geek

jahfish and twit: right on! As someone who entered the contest, it was fun to see all the different entries. Would I have picked a different label? Yes. Would I have picked mine? No, actually! But so what? It's Simon's game! As far as the Enemy Mine image use, yeah it's a grey area, but it's not like this puppy is going to be sold at EB and Walmart. Thanks for having the contest! -le geek

Howdy! It seems that with the number of atari carts in one's collection, you can get a pretty good idea of how far off the deep end the collector has gone. For instance I'm up to 320. Now if I add that I don't collect the non-exclusive sears titles that give you a pretty good idea of my atari madness. However, out of curiosity I'm wondering what people's 2600 Hardware collections look like. Here's mine to get started. I'm guessing I'm probably middle of the road... - - - - - - - - - - - Atari VCS 6-switch Atari VCS 4-switch (woodgrain) Atari 2600 jr Starpath Supercharger Various Atari+3rd party joysticks(all standard) in various conditions Various Atari paddles in various conditions Two keyboard controllers Star Raiders controller Two driving controllers Two Atari Kid's Controllers Two Atari Trackballs Two Atari Track & Field controllers One Amiga joyboard Cheers! -le geek

Hey Tempest, you don't drop them on Mary. You grab the items and drop them on one of the top shelfs of the canyon(left or right) the bonus items do the following all for a brief period: >one of them stops the water from rising >one of them stops Mary from jumping around >one of them makes the crane move fast >one of them allows the blocks to fall on top of Mary with out squishing her There are also numbers that will increase score, and an item that looks just like Mary (I wonder what that does!) There's also a bird (or a plane) that flies over and knocks the girders if I remember correctly. legeek

legeek replied to legeek's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Both are near mint BTW... -
Hi, I have a PAL Raiders w/manual for trade. I'd like to trade it for an NTSC game and manual (not neccesarily the same game). here are some commons I'm missing: slot machine video chess swordquest fireworld crossbow jr pacman dragster dark cavern megaforce I'm missing plenty of manuals. The Radiers manual is Color so I'd like to trade for a color manual. Let me know, otherwise I'll probably ebay it. Cheers, le geek

Reviews are my goal for my le geek website. Right now I'm slowly writing and adding reviews every other month. I eventually hope to have a nice archive. If anyone is interested in submitting reviews, I'd be more that happy to host them. One thing this doesn't accomplish is having average ratings which would be cool.. Cheers, le geek

I'm most interested in Ultravore followed by Distant Lands. What ever happened to the Lode Runner port that was coming along? I'd also be interested in another SIMIS type compilation. BTW anyone know how to get the secret arcade mini game in Lexis to play? le geek

BTW how far have folks gone in Parker Bros Frogger? I usually die around level 10 or 11.. Cheers, -Le Geek le geek: videogame favorites

Hello, I have a very rare prototype of the never released Atari 2600 game Save Mary for trade. It is an earlier build than the .bin file floating around the net, featuring different block shapes and no bonus items. This is a very rare item and would probably rate UR or 10 in any collector's guide. I would like to trade it for Atari 2600 item(s) I am missing. Pictures of the game can be viewed at http://abscape.org/savemary/ My eBay rating (longhill-atari) can be viewed at http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...=longhill-atari Below is a short want list. Manuals are a bonus.
