They'll also ship to Canada but shipping is US $7 instead $4.99 and you have to pay with a money order only. It's in the Planetweb FAQ.

  2. Actually, the 1 pound Priority Mail rate is increasing from $3.50 to $3.85. As Rhindle said the 2 to 5 pound rate is changing from fixed to zoned. So a 2 pound package that used to cost $3.95 to mail will cost between $3.95 to $5.75 depending on zone.

However, there is one good thing. Now you'll be able to get Delivery Confirmation on First Class Mail packages instead of having to ship Priority or Parcel Post.

Yeah, it's almost complete. It's only missing AEO News Bulletins #2, 3, 5, and AEO Volume 1, Issue 12. I did find a copy of AEO 1.12 and email a copy to JEO last February, but it was never put up. I can email a copy of AEO 1.12 if anyone wants it.

  4. *sigh*

I agree with Lemmi. It is changing history. I know they own the Atari properties, but what's so wrong with saying copyright 1982 Atari and adding a line that says Atari is a registered trademark of Infogrames. Seeing those games without an Atari logo would be sickening. I felt the same way with San Francisco Rush 2049. It was the last arcade game to have an Atari Games logo. But guess what I see whenever I play the game on my Dreamcast, copyright 1999 Midway Games West.

Oh well, I guess I go play my Infogrames Jaguar.

  5. Hmm, maybe they should've added some more phrases instead of having the extra title screen animation. You know, something along these lines.

"That's okay. I'm sure we didn't need that wing anyway."

"What part of 'Avoid the ground' don't you understand?"

"Well, you didn't listen when I said, 'Avoid the ground' and 'Where did you learn to fly?', how about 'CUT IT OUT!!'?"

"All I know is that if this keeps up, somebody's going to be collecting pods on foot!"

"Look, I know I'm a highly advanced aircraft that can transform into many different shapes as needed. However, one of the shapes I can't do is bumper cars!"

"Uh huh. Let me guess. You were flying around minding your own business, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this huge mountain appeared. Am I close?"

  6. Well, this is interesting. Some Jags will power up and some won't. Anyway, because I was bored a few months ago, I tried out every different boot condition. I think I got them all. Hopefully, I won't bore you too much. Of course, the Jag was properly hooked up in all scenarios.

    Nothing plugged in cartridge port

Result: Jaguar doesn't power on at all

    Game plugged in

    Result: Jaguar starts game

    Game improperly plugged in

Result: Jaguar powers on, but has a red screen

    Memory Track plugged in

Result: Jaguar boots into Memory Track manager

Jag CD plugged in, but Jag CD power supply isn't

Result: Jaguar powers on, has Jaguar logo on screen with random VLM effect as background. There's also a picture of the back of the Jag CD with an arrow pointing to the power jack.

Jag CD plugged in and properly hooked up

Result: As above, but has a CD icon with a question mark on it instead of a picture of the back of the Jag CD.

Jag CD plugged in, properly hooked up, and Memory Track plugged in

    Result: Same as above.

Jag CD plugged in with no power, but game plugged in Jag CD's cartridge port

    Result: Game starts

Jag CD plugged in with power (all remaining Jag CD conditions have the Jag CD properly hooked up), game is plugged into Jag CD

    Result: Same as above

Jag CD plugged in with Audio CD in drive

    Result: Music plays

Jag CD plugged in with Jag CD in drive

    Result: Game starts

Jag CD plugged in with Jag CD in drive and Memory Track plugged in cartridge port

    Result: Same as above

Jag CD plugged in with CD (Jag or Audio) in drive and game plugged in cartridge port

Result: Cartridge game starts, CD is ignored

I don't even have Cybermorph, so I don't know, sorry.

EDIT: Look above. Albert posted about checking the copyrights on the cartridges themselves.

Probably. Like I said, I don't even have the game, but I did look up old issues of Jaguar Explorer Online and found information of the two Cybermorphs in Volume 2, Issue 2. It mentions that the 1 MB version has no animation while the 2 MB version has an animation sequence for the title screen and endgame.

Any idea what new phrases Skylar says?

Skylar says the following in the 1 MB Cybermorph:

    • Where did YOU learn to fly?

    • Portal now open.

    • Pod in trouble.

    • Good luck.

    • Good work.

    • Well done.

    • Ouch.

The 2 MB version says all of the above plus the following:

    • Great shot.

    • Avoid the ground.

    • Only one more.
