Ebay works fine for me. You just don't find many 2600 carts 'wild' in the UK and, without ebay, I wouldn't have been able to get half as many great games as I have now. It's either that or inflated store prices.

Definitely a 2600. yeah, you can play its games on a 7800 - but you can also play em on an emulator - its not the point. For the real feel of those old Atari games, there's no substitute for the real thing (may I recommend the original 6 switch wood-panelled model)

Don't worry, I'm not going to harp on about that useless disc. Thing is, I'm toying with the idea of rebuilding an Intellivision, in a smaller casing - with built in Intellivoice and detachable controllers. My only problem is, what should I use for controllers?? The existing ones are famously bad. Ideally, I want to keep that 16-way control, and have a controller that I can mount a little 12 key keypad in (double points if the overlays go in too )

I'd like to see some old Ultimate games and Jetset willy or Manic miner, they were old Zx Spectrum titles that really broke new ground, it'd be nice for them to have a wider international stage.

alright, if its ports we're after:- how about the Intellivision game - Tron - Solar sailer. Its such a great game. But that stupid controller is getting on my nerves!!! Come to think of it- yeah - this'll be my first home project, I'm going to rebuild the Intellivision - with decent controllers this time

What's going on anyway, the music industry just does covers, and the games industry just does rereleases. The reason we all love these games is because they were totally new and fresh when we first played them. I think modern gamers deserve the same feeling. New games please

hang on a bit! We're talking about a 4k 9or whatever) game on a very powerful console! Why can't Activision just do what they did on the PC and release all of the 2600 games on 1 cart? Much as I love Atari, I'm sure as hell not paying £35 for a cartridge I've already got to play on a screen I can't see

Kaboom is inherently an analogue control game, just as much as pong is. Therefore, the GBA just couldn't do it any justice....sorry.

can't help but think they're gonna bomb. I love these games, but I wouldn't spend $30 to have them on a console that can do(and should be doing) so much more. I think even releasing rehashed Super mario 2 on GBA was a lame idea. my god , these controllers sound awful, kinda glad we never had the 5200 here in UK. any way to mod an intellivision controller to work on one?
