I'm with you, (despite some ironies) There are too many wannabe collectors who collect games because they think its "hip to be square". I began collecting atari games before I even found the internet, add the fact I grew up in a small town I feel I've come to appreciate them as if I had grown up with them, since I'm approaching the 10 year mark in a couple of years by the time I'm as old as some of the more distinguished members of this forum I'll genuinely have nostalgia of my younger days of collecting. At least I started collecting BEFORE I was 15 Well I'm through, of bein' cool

You're gonna have a hard time making your case because of that statement right there. You looked at the card and were fine with it, thus, it was to your satisfaction at the moment you received it. To then take it home, and declare its NOT to your satisfaction after previously looking at it (no matter how quickly) will work to your detriment. now, I hope you get your money back, but I have to say I won't feel sorry if you don't as even you made my point "lesson learned". Good luck buddy

I have the R-Zone SuperScreen, you just had to like those kinda games that much Growing up, a lot of kids had some LCD games, and we would all bring them to school and have mini arcades. I can remember in Grade 2 setting up a little arcade with all the games I owned and encouraged the other kids to bring theirs. GOOD TIMES. (Nintendo Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch FTW though )

Help ! Atari 400 problems / questions
Atari-Jess replied to stevelanc's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Just get an 800XL, the 400 isn't much good other than as a show piece. -
Them Nigerians just be amazed with all those magic colour cakes. VOODOO magic. But seriously, why would they even bid on this, when there are so many other things worth the effort to steal? Those Nigerians be crazy.

Sudoku became popular in japan in 85, so it would have been very unlikely. Hell, there aren't even any Sudoku NES/SNES titles. (AFAIK)

Working on a space invaders game...
Atari-Jess replied to tschak909's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
They look okay, but I think you should try to create an original type of game rather than something there are more than enough clones of for the 8bits... -
I believe this game to have been Missile Command. The realities are obvious. The Cold War is over, and has now become the Atomic Wars, World War III. The end is so very close to the war's start and now, you exist as the chief protector of your city. Armed with men to man the Anti Ballistic missile stores you must use every ounce of strength to deflect the nuclear death raining down upon you. But face it, you are doomed to lose. The game will not allow you to play forever, sooner or later you will fail and hundreds of thousands of human beings who are depending on you to save them will die instantly as a direct consequence of your failure. While there are similar games, atlantis, war games, and to a lesser degree space invaders, you not only see the oncoming torrent of disaster pouring from the heavens, but you must also suffer the sight of countless explosions as the missiles reach critical mass and consume blocks of buildings. With Atlantis you have hope, even at your failure, a single space ship manages its way out. With Space Invaders, you have no direct proof they intend to destroy us all. With WarGames you do not see the explosions in the same way as missile command. And so this is why I feel that Missile Command is the most depressing game of the 2nd Generation (and perhaps of all time)

You would have to include the Sony DualAnalog/DualShock controller in your list of exclude. The original launch controller for the ps1 had no rumble and no analog.
