  1. What are my options for a USB/serial gameboy cart reader? I only need to get the data, I don't need to be able to program EEPROMs as well. It *must* be USB or Serial, as all of the usb-to-parallel adapters are really only for printers.
  2. I built my own and used alternative software. It's an absolute nightmare, but it works. GBPIC002.BMP
  3. I doubt you'll be doing much reviewing if you haven't even been able to find a system. I would be easier for you to just review the ROM images. Of course, that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the real deal.
  4. Ive really only got some DS games right now, not much else in the trade fodder... Most of the games I've left were the more expensive titles What sorts of things are you looking for in a trade atm?
  5. I really don't understand it. 50 views and no PMs, no replies. Why do people bother looking? Its very irksome. Heh, but I suppose I complain about it every time I post in Wanted...
  6. I'm looking for this cable. Let me know what you want for it. EDIT: See my latest post in this thread
  7. It's the Canadian one, with its vulture attack label in all its Rarity 9 glory. There it is. I really was never big on collecting rarities. I also prefer playing to collecting. The game works, no problems, no rattles. I have a rough figure as to how much these seem to go for, and I need the money rather than anything else so I have to say no to any sort of trades. If anyone is interested, please pm me ASAP. I'd prefer a MO. I will mail it from the United States to speed things up as I will be there next week (Indiana) If I get the offers I am hoping for, I'll ship it free to the US/Canada in a lovely bubblemailer. Please forgive me if I don't reply to you ASAP. Edit: I am obvliously not expecting anything close to $2000 ahaha
  8. When they "Scaled her down" that was it for me. all kidding aside, I've enjoyed the Tomb Raider series, but the more action-y it gets the less I like it.
  9. OHHHHH, you've torn a new hole in my once broken heart! :( :( *goes off sobbing in a corner* TAAAMAAAAGOTTTCHIIIIIIII
  10. I totally want to take advantage of this offer, but as I messaged you I wanted to know what the chances were I could pick it up since we're both in Toronto.
  11. I constantly get screwed over by people who ship for a certain price only to mail it in a buble envelope for about two dollars. Unless you're living like a gallon of gas away and are buying your bubble mailers from europe, I don't see how people legitimise it. I've never had any problems mailing either way to or from Canada. I often will mail things in a 99 cent bubble mailer with a single and sometimes double stamp (depending on where). But at least I am honest with my shipping. And I don't mean just ebay.
  12. It's important to note that Atari-Age is still subject to state lottery laws (and other non-us lottery laws if the contest is open to them) that aren't based on FCC regulations and directly refer to the internet. However, I don't think this counts as a lottery at all, and instead a promotion as the prize is by no means based off the pooled money from purchasers for eligability. Obviously IANAL, and personally I think AA is in its right to hold the contest the way it is doing so, at least as far as the US is concerned. I could be wrong.
  13. See title. Please PM me the model and brand. I'm kind of expecting that you're just looking to get rid of it, but want it to go to a good home...
  14. you say that like they still arent today! I love Gary Numan, Tears for Fears, The Cars, China Crisis, Depeche Mode, OMD and so many others....
  15. I think he's more criticising the fact you're putting a dumb slide show of images up for sale. Anyone who's plunking down cash for this is foolish. Thats just how I feel about it; it's a waste of money! It would be much better for you to buy anything else like those prototypes or demos that are actually playable.
  16. It makes me kind of sad, not so much that this rebranded company is going under, but that it means less Atari branded products as created by the community or apologetic developers.
  17. As far as game mechanics the 2600 version is a better play than the arcade, but the graphics are much more enjoyable on the arcade.
  18. I got it for the game. But I received it as a present, I am happy.
  19. Perhaps, but it was Super Mario that brought an industry back and Tetris that brought the things into our hands. Space Invaders has been mostly forgotten where Mario and Tetris live on. I love space invaders for the record...
