  1. Actually yes. http://the-underdogs.info/ The Thai girl who runs it forgot to renew the domain. Its not the first time squatters have taken the address to this website! but looks like the downloads are still trying to connect to the old address
  2. Someone's gotta have a price, pm me!
  3. But is it specifically the heavy sixer, or just any 6 switch atari you're after? Some people assume the six switch atari is also the heavy sixer, which is actually not true. the heavy sixer, is a six switch that was manufactured most likely in sunnyvale. you said original, but I take this to mean the original atari having 6 switches, unlike the 4 switch. I only ask this cause you haven't received any replies, and if you're just looking for A atari 2600 6 switch, and don't know why you haven't seen replies (outside of potential PMs) I had to ask this question to sort it out.
  4. I didn't get offered tickets this year from IGN/Gamespy so I'm not going, as badly as I want to!
  5. Bah, Ottawa is gonna take it. Go Sens. (but the oilers would be good too, I wanna see an Oilers vs Senators finals)
  6. I need one as a gift for that special someone, anyone have one they'd be willing to let go for a decent price? It's being shipped within the states. Dolphin by Activision. I figure, if its a gift boxed complete is the way to go. It's not exactly rare, (a mere 3) so I figure I may have a good chance. PM me with offers!
  7. This sounds just like one of the requests I've made in the past, and I certainly didn't scam anyone.
  8. I have one of those, I use it with my famiclone to plays the duckhunt!

    Quantities

Reminds me of some bad experiences in some gaming shops I've been in...
  10. Doesn't look like ive said it in this thread, but I once found two cockroaches in a Smurf cart. bleh! (I took it anyway )
  11. Windows telnet server seems to feed both IceT and Bobterm extra junk, in icet its fed as stuff like @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 but in bobterm you see stuff like K01 K02 K03 It works, but with these added bits of text (Ive fiddled with EVERY setting) it ruins the alignment. Mind you, other telnet server programs like Syncronet do not produce these problems. If I were to do something like a directory search on telnet server, then the next c: prompt like would ave something like %> at the end of the C:\> so I'm quite puzzled.
  12. What a waste, why bother making games if you're just gonna make them about faeces and vomit. I still appreciate the effort, but I disagree with the humour.
  13. the "real thing" isn't cheaper than free, and they won't play cartridge games unless you also have those. I play my 8bits often, but I wouldn't say its a "lot better." Its certainly not as easy. That said, as long as you're playing it on a big old CRT, its all good. And for me on a laptop 24-7, the "real deal" plays... better.
  14. there is no easy SIO2PC style connection to the ST. It's genuinely a pain in the ass. You have to use double density 3.5" floppy disks and programs that take ST disk images and put them on disks. I'm too lazy to look for any software for you, but I'm sharing with you what your real only cheap, easy-ish option is.

    mATARIo

I LOVE that freakin' game. That should definitely be possible in batari basic, the game and watch is a chunky LCD thing, so any home console should be able to do it with ease.
  16. I've all the games I grew up with that were actually mine. (sadly I don't yet have one of my cousin's games!)
  17. It was also AV modded!
  18. I love digdug, I bought the new digging strike for the DS, I'm enjoying it as much as I've enjoyed the 2600 version (its one of the few games I took with me when I moved in August (don't worry, my collection is safe ))

    CGCC swap meet

I went to a swap meet organised by the CGCC forum and took some photos, enjoy! Swapmeet 20 photo zip archive There would have been less blur and better colour if I used the flash, but I wouldn't have been able to take 200mb of pictures if I did! Here are some thumbnails from the above zipfile.

  21. I'm mostly into it for the games, as nice as the upgrades are, there is so little software, so it doesn't interest me as much as I'd like it to. So for me, the games are whats more important.
  22. The Cuttle Cart 2 is quite close to this idea, although he uses the very similar but not the same MMC (of which SD was derived from) the 7800 allows for some important differences that made the cuttle cart 2 easier, so im sure there are some big differences And as far as your-device-in-question being compatible with a cart port modded fb2, well in theory yes, but thats impossible to know without building one and testing it. prototyping and small batch making products like these is *expensive* and I mean, a couple hundred dollars would do the trick each.
