  1. Im not sure if its been distributed around here, but I never thought I'd see it. Yes, someone has remixed that awful beeping sound into a song: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/atari...ex-classic.html Its under: Pacman (game start extreme remix) I have also attached it as a zip to this thread Enjoy? pacmania.mid.zip
  2. I actually had a find recently! Well, an Atari find. A little Atari Jr. and a copy of Millipede. I do have atari finds now and again, but rarely stuff I want to actually buy. (while I have both, not enough of both to pass on this deal ) It was cheap too, $6 for the atari and $2 for the cart. I am very pleased.
  3. Anyone have a cheap ol plastic tenor recorder? let me know.
  4. I would love to have a real address and real hosting if I could pay with paypal but not have to subscribe to it by backing of a credit card, and I would rather not pay for a year in advance... I fixed the suspension of the site though. (but it might take a while before that updates) apparently I was supposed to log into the forum twice a month or something This is very embarassing.
  5. The server was acting a little slow yesterday, but it was working for me... And it seems rather speedy now.
  6. I have way too many hobbies and talent like things Thats what my mother did too when we were younger, she made crafts. I appreciate that you can see the effort I've been putting into these little guys, and I intend to really start pushing myself in making more and more elaborate ones. All good ideas mean there is competition somewhere out there, and I already know a few people doing this, but I do feel my work is different from theirs, especially at my price point. Anyway, thank you for your thoughts
  7. Last time the host went belly up, so I kept the url but changed the host, I'm not sure why it wouldnt be working for you that time... an alternate url is http://neko.exofire.net so if the first one isn't working, maybe directly from the server will... Let me know, Greg.
  8. Not a bad idea, the only problem with dog toys is that people aren't typically willing to pay much for em, and for all the work I put into em, while I wouldn't mind if a dog tor em up, it wouldn't be worth my while to make a lot if I had to deal with much lower prices for them. Still though, not a bad idea at all. Perhaps if I get good enough that I can really whip them out fast (Im pretty fast as it is now!) then it would seem a lot less work to make them like that. I much enjoy novelty factors over pure profits, and the art and creation of the plushies themselves over the profits. But yeah! I will keep it in mind, absolutely. I am always open to peoples ideas, advice, and comments.
  9. The site is up and no comments? not even on the design?
  10. Figgler, if you are on CGCC then I think I knew that you were in Toronto
  11. Latest edit: I finally have a fantastic host, so I am working on repairing my gallery section! I started a little side thing, I work in somewhat of a specific style, so take a look at the site I made for it: I basically make anime-chibi-style plush toys. often with animal features, but obviously without too. http://neko.phy.ca If you like what I do, please consider commissioning me to make something for you, a partner, a child, etc. Thanks
  12. I'm very glad I nagged you into sharing a little sneak-peak. I am definitely impressed with that case, its very sleek, yet you've managed to keep the retro feel. If this hits the shelves I will definitely be scouring for them I think realistically having the USB port is the way to go now, it makes sense with the FB2 that you had a pinout for the cart point made manageable, but the ability to upload .bin files to this device takes the cake. Since I recall you mentioning the AA batteries (I would have been so flustered if this had some sort of rechargable, thats what NiMH is for!) this really is I think what everyone (lol mostly everyone) is looking for in regards to a modern (and long overdue VCS handheld)
  13. I have a couple in amazing shape, I can get pictures later but right now Im trying to gauge interest. What could I expect to get for one? mayyyybe 10 bucks? If anyone wants one, PM me with an offer and I'll eventually put some pictures up here as soon as I can.
  14. Thats fine, assuming you're continuing on where the Atari 2600jr left off... /referring to my previous post about empty space and the original vcs Generally I have faith in you Curt, you don't typically let people down when you can help it anyway, so thumbs up to you. I don't see how releasing an image of the case would hurt things, and if I'm not the first, let me at least join in requesting for some sort of picture to at least lull us from curious wonderment.
  15. Fighter17 doesn't seem like he's trolling to me. I think its a combination of whiners and too many posts too quickly. I've seen worse name calling coming from the people who are calling him out within this very thread. It's not that I am trying to defend Fighter17 for everything he does, but just rather in this particular thread it doesn't seem all that bad to me...? *shrug*
  16. Oh cmon, the DS (and GBA for that matter) is much cheaper to develop for. The costs are lower, the time to develop is lower, the DS has been out a couple years and is established thus it is MORE PROFITABLE to develop for it.
  17. I think it should be made a small as possible in regards to stylish embellishments. There is nothing I hate more on a handheld than empty case. Tight compactness ftw.
