i opened the battery thing from the back of mine AHHHH!!!!!! huge battery leakage!!!! OLD OLD OLD BATTERY LEAKAGE!!! either way it still works and can use a 2600 adapter. (batterys still can make it work too it didn't do too much damage)

it will still cost about 200 (im estimating) to get all the crap you will need.

umm...well you cant exactly just go an buy one cause atm only the one dude makes the VCSp and there is a waiting list. no one on that list may even get a VCSp atm it costs 300 at least dollars to buy one from him (he is till trying to make a cheap and easy one) you can always just get the tools to make your own. if you have any soldering skills you can do it all you really have to do is buy the screen, a solderer a de-solderer a cade and a couple odds and ends. just goto his site and it explains how. its not an easy task but atm there isn't a manufactured one that doesn't have only a few games in it.

oh the rf switch doesn't work either. only the adapter works.

I tested the jag today, it doesn't work. it wont turn on. its not the adapter, it works, its not the rf switch, it works. its the unit itself the light wont turn on... it wont show anything on the screen. unless it wont turn on at all with out a game its broken...

star wars the arcade game like the actual arcade game has voice. actual movie sound clips, a big winner in my eye. that game still makes me think im going around the death star! its a well built vector game! all thanks to Atari. (at least i think they programmed it....it DOES say atari in it though...)

they seem to be too large for the controller how big are they? im pretty sure they aren't supposed to be that big, i printed some out for the games im gonna get and they are all too big the for the controller. If someone happens to know just how much i should shrink them (alex, albert?) please tell me how big they should be. (they are the ones at this site thats why they are in this topic area!)

you like this book to eh? thats neato! 1982 is the copyright date on the book for those interested it was written by George Sullivan and even has tips on the types of batteries you should use for handheld game systems!

Well while cleaning my room i found an old table top hockey game. made by coleco did they make this or was it some other company? the letter E in coleco has a horizontal line that is the same length as the letter. it doesn't make the E smaller it just seems to be a bit above it. *shrug* i know this isn't where to post it but this topic gets more attention.

not too long after I had reached about the 20 game Atari 2600 cart mark, I had gone around looking for more video game stuff. and found a book, its title is the same as the topic. I read it and now i am as i type downloading all the games it covers. it covers, Berzerk Gorf Space Invaders Space Invaders II Missile Command Donkey Kong Galaxian Asteroids Asteroids Deluxe Centipede Scramble Tempest Defender Pac-man Ms. Pac-man Its got a lot of info on these games and other things about video games back in the day. why did i post this? cause im just saying that after i finish reading this book, ima kick all yer at them games!!!!! (lol jk)
