Thats it?! for a boxed copy. Wow i thought it was worth more than that. Then again my reference was ePay and we all know about the legendary ePay inflation. I think Cebus was responding to the previous post regarding a loose version estimate. Either that or he's trying to low-ball you

Loose, I'm hoping for at least $90. Will find out in two days

Video Pinball cart with "P" on end label but not PAL?
shadowdoggie replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
Looks like it's NTSC. I'm not sure about the rarity, but since it's a pretty well know label variation I wouldn't think it's anything of value, just a nice to have in your collection if you collect label variations. -
I was told that the double white stickers were refurbished units. I'm pretty sure I learned that from the Heavy Sixer thread, but like you said it's hard for anyone to know the real answer. Do we know what the hidden white sticker says underneath? I tried to lift mine up, but it wouldn't let me, even with the help of a hair dryer. That unit is no longer in my possession. To me it doesn't make sense that the double white stickers were the original models. Why double sticker the originals? Also, we know that some heavy sixer units came from overseas (Taiwan I believe). Is it possible that Atari mass produced a large number of heavy sixer shells in 1977 and sent the extras to Taiwan with stickers already on them? Then, when production of the systems began in Taiwan they slapped silver stickers over the top of the original stickers? This would mean that not all silver double stickers were refurbished. Just a theory.

The sticker covers up the misprint on the box. All Sea Hawk boxes have it. They printed the box as "Sea Hank". That's pretty funny Did you read post #16?

I think a few Lights may have been made in Sunnyvale, but I'm pretty positive that no 4-switchers other than the promos were made in sunnyvale. There has been some discussion around the 4 switch Sunnyvale units here before. See link to 4 switch Sunnyvale thread. It appears that many of the 4 switch Sunnyvale units were promo units, but not all. As I stated in that post, I have the original box for mine, and it doesn't say anything about it being a promo unit on the box or on the system itself. Benzmann66 states that he's seen many of these units, most had the yellow paint around the bezel and were promotional units, but not all.

Also, I noticed that Sea Hawk is the only box where the name of the game is written in white, and it looks like it's a sticker label. What the story with that one?

I have either a Time Warp or Laser Volley that's tripled labeled. I'd have to dig it out. I can't remember if it was the end labels or main labels though. Other then that I have all the big font, small font end label variations, some Laaser Voley carts, some upside down end label variations, and some of those carts with the gripper ridges on the side. I may have one you don't have. Check the Pinball in the back row from the pictures above. It should be the one where the letters are closer together and thicker. I have gripper ridges on mine, does yours? Let me know.

Omega, Did you ever find any other double label Zellers carts, other than the Earth Attack with Defence underneath?
-
Gigabyte, you mentioned making a big purchase on ebay, and I think that would be a wise investment, especially if you know you're buying from a trusted source, and if it happens to be all tested and working and ends up being a heavy sixer, even better. Good luck with that. I'm going to go run and hide now.

Here's a link to four player games But I think they may all be paddle games.

Video Pinball cart with "P" on end label but not PAL?
shadowdoggie replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
Another freaking label variation I'll need to pickup, and it won't even look any different than the one I already have. Just like my Atari label Asteroids, one with, and one without the splash screen. -

Today, my girl and I were headed home from the mall when we passed by a yard sale. She said, "Turn around, I have a felling about that one". So we stop, get out of the car, and the first thing I see is an Atari joystick. Huh? Too bad that was all they had that was Atari. Nice older couple.......... with shelves and shelves of used porn. Little weird. Passed on the joystick after that... imagination was going a little too wild on me.

Video Pinball cart with "P" on end label but not PAL?
shadowdoggie replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
Well mine is 100% PAL. I just went and tested one of my NTSC carts, without the 'P', and it was fine. Then I put the 'P' version in and the screen started rolling. So, if it indeed is a commonly known NTSC label variant, you won't be able to know for sure whether it's NTSC or PAL until you check it on your TV. -
Video Pinball cart with "P" on end label but not PAL?
shadowdoggie replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Atari 2600
The other possibility is that it's a printing error. There is a Joust with a 'P' in the Atariage list of games that says NTSC, but many have suggested that it's an error on the site and that it should be marked PAL. Printing errors do occur and labels do get swapped, so the only real test is to check it out on your TV. If I remember correctly, the screen didn't roll, but I couldn't see the bottom of the game, where the flippers are, on my screen. -

Yep, definitely a Pal game. I have the same cart and posted the same topic year's ago It's now part of my small PAL collection of games. -
Are the duplicates label variations? Many of the end labels look the same.
