While normally I do my best to ignore Adrian this is one that I just must comment on.1) you complain about being PC, well it is because of insensative, assholes like yourself that the rest of the world now has to moderate their language.
Insensitive? Using the term gimp?
Be quiet and stop pretending to be such a victim over nothing.
2) Even a baby as you called the rest of us knows when we've f'ed up but apparently you have yet to even reach that level of compentance to see that you have insulted not only one person but quite a few and can't even be man enough to make an appology you just compound the issue with further ignorance
The difference is, this is just an internet messageboard. Text on a screen, if you will.
3) All I can say is I hope to GOD that no hardship ever befalls you because then you might be forced to see just how inapproiate and krass your comments were.
Does not apply
4) You may pity the poor soul who don't agree with your M$ p.o.v. but I truly pity you if this is how you deal with people, and if you can't see just how poorly a human your comments make you out to be.
I'm actually a very nice person and well respected. Tis great fun to come here and watch you people overreact over the slightest thing. You guys react exactly as expected too!

No, what's truly sad is that when all you had to do is apologize, instead turned your own thread, which could have been an informative thread into another stupid flame war and that you actually enjoyed doing this.
Apologize for what?
I admitted to making the mistake (not editing out the "gimp" part before posting the initial message). I don't see that as a reason for apologizing. I've seen worse comments made on this board with no ill consequences either.
But, if you children are going to get all upset over seemingly nothing by posting your hatred, then of course I'll simply sit back and enjoy the ride as yet another thread degrades into a flame war.

Actually I did have an interest in the Hanicapped NES controller in that I was wondering which games came packaged with it.
But once again, the babies in this forum started to cry and complain about my accidental usage of the word gimp in the initial message. You guys get so riled up over nothing. Sad really.
But yes, the ensuing drama is always good for a cheap laugh!

-
Is this an apology? If so, that's about the lamest apology I've ever heard. Calling someone a gimp is pretty offensive in my book.
So what? Stop being so thin-skinned!
If you find it degrading or offensive, move on.
This from someone who goes crying to the mods every time something doesn't go his way and gets offended when someone says Microsoft sucks when he says the same exact thing about Sony. You have to be the biggest hypocrite on these boards. Try saying something other than "Stop being so thin-skinned" when you KNOW you fucked up for a change.
Actually, I don't go crying to the Mods. I'm not sure where you come up with that. I did report Moycon once, but of course, the mods did nothing about it.
And when someone says that Microsoft sucks, I just shake my head and laugh at the poor souls who think this way.
So anyway, a gimp is a gimp. No sense candy-coating it.
And stop being so thin-skinned.

Moonwalker isn't exactly easy to find either. Congrats!
~lol...Michael Jackson!!

Whatever, I'll drop it and go find something else of interest.
Suit yourself.

Those are pretty cool controllers...specifically the one on the top left. Amazingly, they were using genuine arcade buttons on these controllers which was pretty unheard of for the era. I'd have bought one simply because of that reason alone!
-
PC or not dude, realize there are people that might be offended by that. I looked into this thread, not because I have an NES, but because my 11 year old daughter is a "gimp". That controller might be an interesting alternatitive someday as her condition progresses.
At any rate, it's not a big deal, before I had a handicapped child I would occasionally use terms like that myself. And I agree on the surface it seems a little too "PC" to talk about it, but if your life were affected by someone handicapped at least know it can seem cruel to use those kind of words.
Ah well. A mistake has been made. Forgive and forget, I say.

I hate low-rider jeans. Sayin'.
I like women who wear low-rider jeans. But I hate when they wear them to show off their ass-crack tattoos.
God how I hate tattoos on women...

Gimp? Very nice.Yeah, I was just about to make a similar comment.
-S
I meant to take that out after typing my original message, but for some reason I left it in.
Regardless, let's not be so P.C. and all that. Now, anyone know anything more about the Hands Free controller?

Gimp? Very nice.Whooops!

Here's a pic, courtesy of Google:

You know the one I'm referring to. They had pics of it in the earliest issues of Nintendo Fun Club News (pre Nintendo Power for those of you who were late to jump on the NES bandwagon in the 80's). A handicapped kid (or adult) would strap on this chest module and control the joystick with his chin, whilst activating the A and B buttons using "puff" and "sip" commands via a straw-like apparatus inserted in his/her mouth.
Not very hygenic to say the least and probably not a good way for a gimp to play games like say, Star Soldier or Commando (I can just imagine the poor kid puffing and sipping like mad to fire continuous streams of bullets and passing out in the process!
). But what intersted me most was that in the earliest article, they stated that this was only avaialable direct from Nintendo and that it came bundled with a game or two. Now, did anyone ever buy one of these direct? Which games came with it? From an operational standpoint, how effective was it?
-
Agreed.

1-Try swapping the carts around and see if it follows the game.2-Have you cleaned the carts contacts?
That's pretty much the usual response when it comes to Neo Geo games. Try reseating the cart, cleaning the contacts, and then the actual connector and see if that improves it. If still no improvement, try a different cart in the problematic slot.
I'd also suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the Jamma harness to the MVS board. And if that fails, check to see if your power supply is outputting the correct voltages with a multimeter.

In addition to boycotting the new Atari, I suggest that we boycott the companies that continue to release these all-in-one units.

If there's one thing that I've always enjoyed about AA, it's the drama!LOL! Gotta love the endless bickering involving certain members about seemingly nothing that brings a smile to my face each and every time.

Yes it's quite obvious how much you enjoy it.
Kind of pathetic when you think about it.
Hey... yer right!
lol drama!

Yet another butchered all-in-one game collection.
The Konami one did seem to have the most promise out of all of them, but reading this review, I've sworn off these things forever.
I'd rather just play the real deal at Funspot or via the roms rather than settle for the half-hearted ports included in this unit.

Didn't Phantasy Star III have multiple endings depending on the choices of the player? I am sure that this must have added to the replay value as someone would want to see what would happen if they took another path.Yes, it does have slightly different endings depending on the choices you make in the game (who you marry, etc). Too bad the game itself is absolutely dreadful which pretty much kills the desire to replay it.

I have a limited edition green Halo Xbox that has never been opened and I'd like to sell it on eBay. Essentially it's the "Tickle Me Elmo" for gamers for this holiday season. The first question I have is what is the best time to put it up? November 9th Halo 2 comes out, so I was thinking it might be good to put it up right before the 9th. The next question is whether to set it up as a BIN or not. I've watched several auctions for these end in NPB's and I don't want to have to go through this. By doing a BIN the buyer would have to pay right away, but I haven't had as much luck with BIN's in comparison to just listing stuff at a penny with no reserve and letting the bidding decide what price it should sell for. The final question I have is about returns. I've been accepting returns because I want people to be happy with what they get, but with this I could see someone buy it, open it up (which of course hurts the value), decide that they just don't want it and try to return it. I was thinking of stating that I will take a return as long as it's not opened. As soon as they open it up, it's theirs to keep. What's your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance! MichaelYou should really hold onto it but whatever.
Anyway, the market for Halo rarities seems to be pretty hot right now. Just last week, I realized that my sealed in package Series 1 Halo Warthog action figure set was routinely selling for $120 on eBay...not bad for something I paid $19.99 for at Gamestop a year prior.
Check the prices of the LE XBOX systems on eBay and you'll see that they are selling from $250 to $320 depending on the seller, etc. I believe that right now may be a good time to put it up for sale, if you really must, just before the Halo 2 release date and also seeing how the major retailers have seemingly already sold out of the unit (ebgames had a few for sale last month). I think you'll see a flood of them come Christmas time, which would likely reduce the price a bit.

Am I the only one who's NOT excited about this rumor? Sega has a TERRIBLE track record when it comes to system support. They dumped the 32X like a hot potato less than a year after it was released. They drove a wedge into the Genesis user base with not one, but two add-ons. They abandoned the Saturn three years after it was released in the United States. And don't even get me started with what they did to Dreamcast owners. After all this abuse, you actually want Sega BACK in the console wars? Screw that. I can find better ways to spend my $200 than to throw it away on a console with the shelf life of your average head of lettuce.

This is what I've been saying all along.
Sega and gaming hardware are like oil and water.

Explain your decision-making process. The decision was easy for me.
(1) I have no time for portables, because I'm always working or at home, so that automatically eliminates Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Game Boy Advance, N-gage, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable
(2) I waited until 2002, because I wanted to let the market decide. That eliminated the Dreamcast which was removed from the market.
(3) That only left 3 choices - Xbox, Cube, or PS2. The PS2 was clearly the winner. It had the most games, a game for every genre, lots of variety, and had the support of 50 million users to attract future games.
(Plus backwards compatible with the old PS1 games...bonus!)
(4) In 2003, I bought a second console. I looked at the Box, and saw nothing worth buying. So the Cube was the obvious choice.
(5) Bought an Xbox. It now grows mold. Worse decision I ever made regarding gaming.
Do you like RC models?

RCModeler!!!!!!!!!!!
LOLZ!!
