  1. My best friend has BATTLE CHESS and he let someone use his guide and that person has since moved and that person lost it and now my best friend can't play the game without it.

You have to type in a move before you can play, I guess they did this so the game can't be copied.

Any kind of help would be great, thanks

I've got that manual. Did you still need help with it? I just read this post and its a little bit old now.

    Lemme know. :-)

  2. Well, even if its not true, I wouldn't have been a bit surprised if it was.

I mean, look at Sonys' Playstation case design and the unreleased Atari Falcon 040 - Sony even mentions it in their patent document!

I consider it a compliment to Atari that the ripples from their influence is still felt, even to this day. :-)

  3. Hi Everybody!!!  :D

Could someone please explain to me, in detail, how to make the port

extenders for my falcon? I need cable extensions for: DSP/spkr. and mic,

vga, modem, printer, maybe scsi, and the two enhanced joystick ports. I am not concerned about the cartrigde port.

I have found several online places to purchase the idc d-sub connetors, and flat ribbon cable. I've noticed that there various types of flat ribbon cable. Which type am I supposed to get?   :?

Folks, I need all the info you can give me. I'm just about ready to order parts, and I'd like to get my Falcon/CT60 in it's new home before this time next year.

    Thanks to all of you,

I think you can e-mail Wizztronics and they will provide schematics for just about anything needed on re-casing a Falcon. IIRC. My rack case from them came with a cartridge port extender.

  4. Hmm, not sure. I've never tried to use more than one drive at a time (aside from an EZ135 drive, which I had no problems with).

You're not running up against TOSs partition limit in some odd way are you?

I think I might resort to mailing the HDDriver author directly, or post a message to comp.sys.atari.st or tech, I believe he visits there every so often.

Good luck, sorry I couldn't help more.
