Just showin off here - the farrah shirt is authentic - those ones on ebay are ink-jet this transfer is responsible for the printed t shirt craze that has yet to cease-sold like 3,000,000 pcs the first year. An unused transfer sold at christie's for something like $5,000....I have some doubles of those pepsi glasses and I have some 7up Uncola glasses too those upside down coke glasses. I am going through stuff right now, I just found this cool electronic concentration game-the design is post-star wars and about a dozen hand helds and table tops. -

Here is the 800xl stuff, when I was little my sister got her cut (Dorothy Hamill do was huge) and she was wearing overalls and this waitress came up and said 'wow what a cute little boy' noodles came shooting my nose, and I tormented her for years. I am going through all my stuff and finding more and more. -
I am moving and decided I do not need more than one of things...but I have a few things I do not know what to sell for...a few things off the top; an original Odyssey it has everything except the overlays...a sears video arcade II that is pretty much complete, box is still solid too...and a columbia house w/both controllers, RF, and AC adapter, it also has the coupler to use one socket. Any ideas??

I am moving, I've got a ton of stuff most of your list and much, much more, I even get industry rates on shipping. 800 floppy drives printer - commador 4/plus - C64 - TI99 - VIC - 2 1050 floppy drives - most of it is still in boxes w/paperwork - Apple IIe that has a padded duffle to transport it, the unit and monitor are one peice...I collect pop kulture krap and have tons of stuff of the like...100 or so movie posters from that period (investment type theater advertisements NOT that commercial stuff at retail stores) I freelance and did my share of dispalys and trade shows...most of those techniques on home improvement shows we came up with..and they still do stuff ass backward...the company I worked with (well, my friend's mom and me) was recognized by architectual digest as one of 3 pioneers in display industry, the other two were madison avenue and we were out of the garage...Honestly you give me a realistic budget and I will squeeze two rooms out of it...where you can get materials and stuff you can do yourself....I've done countless things like that..the way we were paid whatever we didn't spend on props and materials we kept...so we came up with ways, which really is true creativity..'the ability to pull something out my ass that actually works'..that was the motto I came up with..the other one was 'where's the bong'...those guys on tv are pussies...I will post some pics of what I have shortly. I was going to get an ebay account and post my stuff but I will hold off and let you go through first. One more thing I read your other one and did you want a boy? b/c you called your daughter 'him'..just an observation -

There are TWO major issues it seems that hasn't been grasped. Intellectual Property and Branding. Which is nothing new in that section of the world, but has become more widespread in the last 5 - 10 years. 30 - 40 years ago the problem was ' black market' and 'grey' market with the latter flourishing through e commerce and both through e bay. Import tarriffs, taxes, duties, alone can double the price of a given product. However these products are genuine, 100% produced at the companies plant. These items can be legally obtained through proper channels, sometimes they are stolen, or even the contractor will produce more than what the contract states. Black market is illegal here but not necessarilly over there. Because it could be purchased out right in that country - on the up and up. Then it enters this country without the proper duties, taxes. (If you ever bought a new car especially an import it's that cost they throw on top. Listen to the commercial it's the last thing they say and what the fine print in white says.) So the consumer pays as well as the importer. Now the Fed Gov't doesn't get its share, domestic corporations are pissed b/c these tariffs are in place to discourage buying imports, not to mention their gov't subsidies sre cut into, finally the state losess out on their duties as well as sales taxes. It is well organized and has to be to actually work, If you ever watch Apacolypse Now, the place they stop for supply is a good example of one part of the black market. Now grey market is exactly what it entails - it's borederline, specific law will have to be written, they operate in looholes. In the end it's the consumer that usually gets it. Electronics has been the king, look around there are plenty of sites selling cameras, mp3 players always cheaper than any US authorized dealer. The product they are hawking was not meant for this market, theredore all warants and guarantees are not valid here. That is why they don't have boxes or sealed manuals, b/c it is in a different lamguage and probably says 'ONLY FOR USE IN ...' It's really done kinda on the sly not really out in the open. You have to watch out and read the disclaimers at sites b/c in the end your screwed That's why these guys selling obvious illegal bootlegged material in malls was just audacity or stupidity - but reflects the attitude toward Intellectual property rights. You guys still with me?? That is all legitimate product. Now this next subject is NOT - it is made by an entity not in way legally associated with what they are producing. Infringing on Copyrights. It's really simple. Say you made something - anything spent a lot of time effort and money - just you no outside help. Now say this shmuck comes along and sees what you made buys or steals a copy and starts selling this product you worked on spent lots of money developing. Not only is he a leech, feeding off your means and giving nothing in return, he is selling a cheaper version that breaks, falls apart, and so on. Now this is where Branding comes in. It's bad enough this guy is feeding off you, he is also making your product look bad. See it doesn't have to be your exact logo, or design INTENT is the key b/c ppl will make the associatation. The law used to 20% differential in design. And you can't gut a branded name product and call it your own. Completely different from modifying a fuckin X box. Let's say I bought 1 million broken x boxes I could repair them AND RESELL them as refurbished NOT as new - the Vendor (Manufact.) could even ebdorse me as an authorized RESELLER - but not a RETAILER they sell first rate goods from a Ditributor or Wholesaler who is either buys in bulk or is contracred to distribute the product to Retail stores where they sold to Consumers. Within a year if unsold the product is liquidated and to discount outlets - destroyed - or sent to third world counties. Why in the hell are the Chinese bootlegging NES because they have our old 486 and pentium Is, All these exchange progtams make millions selling our old tech to third world nations. So I could resell them - even modified - and here is the difference-I could not take protected software and preload the machines then put my label on it and market them under another name. That in NO imaginable way is Legal let alone ethical. If you sold your comp none of the software is transferable, when you 'I Agree' before installing windows thats what you agree on. You do not own the program you are licensed to use it and you alone, This is the garment industry major problem. Swap meets, flea markets, the guy in the alley selling out his trunk was a billions of dollars in lost revenue. Companies like Gucci, Prada, Nike and now Mitchell & Ness not only are losing revenue in their markets, but their reputation they spent a long time and capital is now going down the toilet. It is all about image. Even though I hate corporations like Nike, it still doesn't make it right for some offshore company usually in S Korea to make an inferior product and selling it here as Nike or Adidas, now Mitchell & Ness. Those jerseys retail for 300 - $400 and are being sold on ebay for about a hundred? Way below wholesale, by sellers on US bases in S Korea. When ALL Mitchell & Ness products are made here. And Ebay is well aware this is going on Nitchell % Ness does not sell to anyone on Ebay despite all the claims otherwise. I have a authentic M&H and a 'knockoff' there is a noticeable difference in quality but they look identical, even their labels. That is why Branding is important, these companies could make something similiar with their own labels and in most cases is legal. Virtually all garment co knock eaxh other off, but under their own label. You think Nike pays tiger woods 50,000,000 just so every tom dick and harry has an easier time leeching off them. There is billions and billions of dollars it;s a larger issue than the so called terror watch, the money being spent on security is for this issue, because millions of dollars are being lost every day. And in the end whi take it? We do the average American not just in faulty product -but in higher taxes, money spent combating this problem that can go into say like health care, education. Now that money that bought the bootleg stuff leaves and is gone, it is not put back into our economy it's gone for ever. Duties were not imposed, and do you think these guys plan on paying any kind od taxes like legit businesses, let alone sales tax?? This operation as small as it was still generated millions at $10 - 100,000 pcs = 1 million multiply that by 1000s and you get the picture. And that was a small time operation too, but it was on a national level probably moved 500,000 pcs, most likely more. No such thing as an islolated incident everything has to do with the other. Now Bush has cut taxes, espexially for the very rich benefitted the most the middle class kind of - the rest (75%)(10 % of this country's population controls 80-90% of the wealth) He hasn't cut spending he has spent more than Clinton has. Now since less money is generated from taxes, public institutions and services has the burden of generating capital. For instance college tuitiuon is increased at state and community colleges because of a 'cut in spending' Now you have to more than last year. Thats a tax, you are having to pay more for the same thing because Bush cut corporate and income taxes. Public transit is increased, county hospitals are forced to do with less. Do the very rich use public transit go to state colleges or xounty hispitals? Now insurance premiums are going through thr roof, can you understand why? Ya think an 'across the board tax cut has anything to do with it. Globalization and Free Market theory has made Intellectual Property and Branding the issue. It goes way beyond some company pisssed off b/c of some leeches. And was it Isreali gangsters?? look it uo at the southern poverty law center, which organization is among the most active hate group/terrorists in the US?? The JDL here in Los Angeles. So don't be suprised when Ebay gets shut down, it's no secret M&H is building a case w/the Feds to go after these ppl and to get them they have to go after the facility. Overstock.com they see it coming they are positioning themselves for it. The funniest thing conncted with is I personally have 4 different famiclones. Where did I get purchase them?? Fuckin Annual Police Auction where I live..Swear No shit...Unclaimed evidence....I saved the receipts. -
If you still need a computer I have a few here, I bought a lot at a poultry auction. I just needed two to rip a couple large format printers. I think I paid $120 per, they are dell opteron 110s business units. So they are a lot nicer and sturdy than their home versions. PIIIs 500mhz 128k ram 6G drives floppy cd reader and I think they all have a zip too. They all booted when I brought em home, I could even throw win 98 and graphic suites on it for em. Macro Adobe Corel whatever let me know probably be around $135-$140 delivered to ohio (valley?) just kiddin. The only thing you would need is a monitor. pm me cause I'll forget about this in 20 minutes, it's STML thing.

that is cool...shit when I was little bastard (as opposed to a grown azzhole) my mom was going to get us brats that exact machine! Went to the store and the guy working the counter -sounds ancient 'working the counter'-anyway he starts telling my mom about this 'new' thing that was going to come out and that she should hold off and get that instead...I remember wishing that was a real gun so I could shoot his red on the head ass...big deal you could play different games on this new thing I have yet to see and come on how much better could it get?? I am 6 years old and live in the present the here and now 5 months is long ass time to wait (w/the whole relativity thing) I remember being pissed. Well I guess some of you brainiacs know what we got for christmas. ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM sounds like interference, could be anything from metal objects to static electricity dust wiggle it around and you'll find the sweet spot. That does bring back memories...going to the sega center at the mall and playing that x's and o's football game with that metal ball that pinched your hand and theee coolest game at the time RIPOFF or even some SPACE WAR

What Classic Computers do you have?
Reid Fleming replied to Rockin' Kat's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I must be bored -An old ABACUS -a Japanese Casio calculator which did calculus cost-$400 in 1977 -C64 -Apple IIe -Atari 800 -AST 3/25 laptop - 386 w/math coprocessor 4 megs of ram and 800 mb HD and one of the first color screens. retail - $4195.95 in 1994. And how do I know this? My friend worked there and figured it out - but could not say anything b/c he back doored it to me. My cost free ninety free. Used as a doorstop now. -AST 486sl see above Here is a factoid: The Commadore 64 is likely the most used (length of time wise) of any computer system ever (industrial use). About 5-6 years ago when I was working out of green jell-o, ed the analog editor and the smartest person I have ever known came in one day like he found a parking space nearby.Nope he found 2 C64s at a goodwill in burbank, which I learned was way better than a place to park and even rarer than a I was (an unmarried heterosexual artist w/mad skills in hollywood) b/c studios sent production assistants (fancy title for underpaiid slaves) combing the area for them. Why??? Teleprompters. I am sure right now as I typing this some meat puppet somewhere is reading off one. If you keep an eye out when 'live' type shows pan back you'll see some fat balding guy typing and most likey its a C64. It's like they were made to be out of the box teleprompters. While I am spinnin yarns here is a factiod bout ol Ed, whom by the way is a multi emmy recipient for editing-can't remember what for though. What I do remember about his resume was that he had the job of editing every scene that Traci Lords appeared in and splice in another scene with another porn queen of the day (mostly Ginger Lynn he said). And that was all analog back then. no avid bay,but that still has it's merits he has what probably now is a small fortune b/c he still has all the edited film. -
I've read ppl wondering how many units were produced and or still floating around - well as of right now at least 777 or if they started at 100 which is common then...677

All we would need to know is Atari's numbering system. If they started at ooooo1 and went up for ALL the consoles or if they had seperate sets for individual models or if each manufacturing contractor was assigned a block of #s or if they had their own set. The color of the labels is redundant. I know this much, the units made overseas has the name of the company contracted to produce printed on the label (WONG LLC). Most of my Sunnyvale's serial #'s end with a letter designation, which could indicate several things like when it was made (month year) or by whom (manufact). Actually it wouldn't be that difficult, if we had a hundred or so serial #'s from all the different models Heavy, 6 switch, 4 switch etc. and where they were made things would start to fall into place, even the 'frankenstein' units would eventually be exposed or identified. So in closing I propose this - instead of everyone trying to out geek each other with a little effort some questions can be answered. Oh yeah one more thing the three plactic components have part numbers on them, I am not looking at one now but if the #'s are raised that would lead me to believe that they originate from the actual injection mold. A tech/repair reference guide would cut the work in half. Here I will start the pic are all Sunnyvales 3 different six switch and 1 heavy as indicated. Just by the first pic the 6 switch has a lower # than the heavy model, but they have diff letter designations at the end. The other pic is of a 6 switch with NO label I got this one in a huge lot I still haven't fully gone through yet.

I am in the process of downsizing my junk acquisitions, and since the video games and toys take up the most space they are at the top of the list. While going through my older shtuff (2600 Int. Od II etc) I found some Eproms (I totally forgot I had) of these three makers; Hitachi, NEC, and Mitsubishi. Their #s respectively are 3K3 RD 92 HN462732G - D2716 W14516 - MSL2732K 823012. They all have hand written paper labels covering the windows. They were stored in 2"x 6" container on top of old green spongey foam. Along with the chips there was a 6 switch console that is slightly different than a 6 switch Sunnyvale I also have. When I opened it up, stamped on the underside; 'PROPERTY OF ATARI INC. SUNNYVALE CA 94086' and 'L & W G C010307 - A'. I guess my question would be...How in the hell could I read these things?? Could it be as simple as purchasing some boards and slip one of these in?? Or is it as I suspect, complicated using specialized equipment. I am sorry I couldn't post some pics, but I am waiting for my new camera still. Oh, and before you guys blow your collective wads...they are all pretty common games, except for a few of these have two diff titles on their labels. Thanks for your time.
