  1. Thanks for the info. I did a basic web search, but because I have an AtariAge account, I knew many people here would have already done this before. I felt I could get a more reliable answer than just a Google algorithm generated responce.
  2. I know this is primarily an Atari site, but I figured many here are cross compatible with other gaming emulation, and I have a question. Is there an emulator that can run "NES" "Super NES" "Nintendo 64" "GameCube" games that is easy to install and operate? 1 emulator that can do it all would be awesome if it is available. I'm primarily interested in the first 2 gaming systems listed. Any help would be awesome, thanks.
  3. Not sure if this has been answered anywhere, but is the Adventure invisible pixel Easter egg on the emulated version of the game or just the cartridges/consoles?
  4. Thanks I was debating if it should go here or at the 2600 forum.
  5. I am just getting back into retro video games. I lived on my 2600 in the early 80's. But back in the late 70's all my money went into a Death Race Arcade game. Is there a Stella version of this game? It seems to me that with th driver controller this would work well, except backing up. I really hope this is a thing as I would love to own a copy of the rom.
  6. I loaded the roms from the page you posted, but cannot find them in Stella anywhere. Have you heard of "Sleepless in Seattle"? I'm "Annoyed in Akron".
  7. It is not helping that I have a windows 10 and I cannot seem to navigate it as well as I could 7
  8. No problem. Many people contact me to help them with their laptop or PC and they assume I'm some kind of wiz when they see the things my machine makes.
  9. The language of programming cnc machinery I run is completely different than any programming that would be done on a computer. Looking at the language that I use that is saved on a computer it is all unreadable, just numbers and symbols in a random order because it is proprietary the the brand of machines I run.

  11. I know I need roms, but where does everyone get their's? How do I download them and get the roms to land in the correct location so when I open stella I can play the game. I'm sure you can tell by my terminology usage that I have no emulator experience and little computer skills. Thanks
  12. I program and run CNC machinery. My time is 2 20 minute breaks and a half hour lunch.
  13. If I go with an emulator...... With all of your experience, which would YOU choose? USB 2600 joystick? or Original 2600 joystick with an adapter? When you reply can you tell me why you made that choice? Also what are the pros and cons for each? I have very limited funds and do not want to buy unnecessary items or go the wrong route and have to start over with new equipment. Thanks
  14. Thanks for all the imput everyone. I want to make sure the way I choose to go is the as flawless as possible.
  15. Actually I'm not. I justhink do not play at home and hooking this up to my laptop via Atari Flashback would have been the easiest way, it it was possible, but it looks like I will probably go the emulator route
