    Maybe instead of making the marketplace invisible, it should be made so that no user's highest activity could be here. I know the user profiles tell you where any given user posts the most often, so it may be possible to limit further posts in the marketplace until the user actually contributes to other topics in the forum.

     

    I used to not trade with anyone who had under 500 posts. I still don't--unless I've had conversations with them on the boards, or I've read their conversations with other and they seem to have their head on correctly.

     

    @Juan Dixon: CPUWIZ is one of the most fair moderators I've seen. If you got his attention from your actions on other forums, you really messed up. Sorry, dude. I'd do the same thing CPUWIZ did anyway.

    Well, I know there's got to be some legal issues because where I live, EB games won't give trade in money to anyone under 18. And don't you have to be at least 18 to purchase M rated games? I need to know all the things like that. Unless that Is just a EB games regulations.

     

     

     

    Well the 18 deal seems to go along with the Pawn shop rule to keep them honest(well thats what its meant to do).Im not quite sure on the time length but pawn shops have to hold goods for so long for the po-po to check them out or send them a list of reported stolen goods for a set amount of days(at least Im thinking thats how I think it works).Had a mom&pop(ebay) game store in town and they did dang good until the police came in and politely told them no more cash or check transactions with anyone under 18 kinda kicked there bussiness in the rear.

    Most minors have no ID's.most adults do or should, so if you have an Id they can track ya if need be.

     

    basically to keep little johnny from stealing his friends games an flipping them to the game stores!

    Well, I plan on reproducing the Coin-Op version, verbatim. BUT.. as an extra-added bonus, I would also like to include a "retro console" version of the game as well. I sorta' have my suspicions that tyhe Coleco rev is gonna' be the way to go. Right down to the Blue Menu Screen with NAMCOVISION shown as the initial boot-screen as opposed to the COLECOVISION one.

    Here's a better version with changes Mike suggested and one of my own. Player0 and player1 were switched, the octopus moves a little slower and stops once it touches your sub. Tell me what you all think.

     

     

    When does the octopus come in to play as I went thru about a dozen screens and never saw him.Does it have to do with the dificulty switches at all?

    On the title screen, press SELECT, and the rightmost number will change from a 1 to a 2. Then press RESET to start the game, and the octopus will be there-- although you won't see him if he's too far away from you, except if he swims across the maze walls and you see his silhouette. :)

    2 or 3 monthes ago i had sold a huge broken lot on ebay for 12.00 for local pickup were talking like 4-5 crates of shit. Anyways the guy and i have lost touch and 1 month ago he said he would pick them up and then his van broke down, the shitty thing is he already paid 4 them. so now i am in kind of a jam, i dont wanna screw this guy but what the fuck i want this stuff gone, it is very space consuming. id love to sell it to a member on here for next to nothing but i feel bad to screw this guy, i know it is only 20.00 (bought some ti carts also) but i dont know what to do, it has been a long time, i doubt he has left a Neg. i have not seen the acct in a few weeks but i harped on him to get this shit, gave him my phone number and everything. What should i do?

    Nah, I'd tell him you were keeping the 20 bucks to pay for storing the junk until you gave up and disposed of it.

     

    I pay $450 a month in storage for our business, so I can tell you, storage ain't free!

     

     

    I pay $115 a month for my personal storage,so screw him it sounds like he's had plenty of time to come and get it!

    Do you still get hit with e-bay fees given you only post to USA?

     

    we are calling ebay tommrow im sure they will waiver the fees. i dunno though.

     

     

     

    I dont sell on ebay but thats what I've read in many posts on this subject that they waive the fee.
