    Some nice stuff there!I almost went after that lot of coleco stuff,but his 95% and being out of the Usa kept me away(nothing against you Canadians :D ).Just didnt have time to really look it over very well at the time!

    :D I was just tired as hell when I left the little red guy and the box wasnt waiting here when I got home from a 16hr roadtrip from Niagara Falls to Minnesota!But all is :cool: now it made it today!

    Why not? They're just as responsible as the buyer. They were aware that there's a strong possibility that the bidder(s) in an auction are bidding mainly because of the item side dealled out of an auction. In each case, where something like this happened to me, I scared the living crap out of the seller, but I would have also liked to take the game the side deal buyer stole from me and shove it where the sun don't shine.

    I get your point!I just dont think the buyer of the item is at fault for a dumb ass seller taking money for something he no longer has!

     

     

    I would have to say ask the seller before you pay is everthing listed actually included or not!If not its fraud on his PART!!!Plain and simple :P

    On the side deal issue (which this listing was not, BTW), maybe people do not like to do it because it is illegal and if caught can result in having your account suspended? How about the fact that you are then screwing whoever the buyer of the auction was when they do not get what they paid for? There are two sides to that coin. I ended up winning several auctions where I did not get what I was supposed to thanks to a mid-auction side deal. Three of the names I was given are of people who I know are very active on this site. :ponder:

     

    There are three parties involved with side deals (which again are not the same thing as having an auction ending early with a BIN enstated). One of those parties ends up getting screwed. It has nothing to do with GASP getting a deal. Only in getting what you actually GASP paid for.

    I agree on that as stated in my post that if a seller sells something of interest or any item from a lot that they are responsible to let a bidder/buyer know that whats advertised is not what they have anymore!I would in myself consider that as theft by the seller then!

    but in another post said collector buys an item!And next thing you know someones asking how much did it sell for.Maybe there just curious or maybe they see all this crap and go ah look he got it this cheap and look what he's selling it for!

    Do you mean the seller or the buyer?Because if you mean the buyer,He sure is lucky than because he seems to be able to do it quite often according to some here!

     

    Personally I dont even know that he's even bought just a single item from anyones lot or not!

     

    In the end I guess he's not hurting me any, and Ive won an auction or two of his and got what I paid for so I have no problem with him :)

    Adam's pretty clear about what it is -- and I know he doesn't try to deliberately mislead people.  Hopefully he doesn't get shafted as a result of bidders not reading (though I think we all know how many eBayers do.  :-))

    A big percentage of sellers have no clue as to the worth of there items anyway,We've all seen the over priced rare combats,Pacmans,&Whatevers! :ponder:

     

    How often does any one bitch when someone buys them for more than there worth?No they just wish theres sold that high~maybe someone here has sold at that price!

     

    I personally dont have a clue if he's a collector or not(maybe thats how he finances his collection or someother hobby)I dont have a clue!But like I say this is America land of the Free so be it!

     

    I dont agree if someone has a lot and sells a particuler game and does'nt notify the bidders though!But then again that is not the buyer of said game/item but the sellers responsability to amend the auction!

    I've seen a few lately on eBay going for well over $100.00 for an out of box, played and used system  :sad:  Man, I'll be surprised if I ever get one at all.  I may just have to break down and get the one locally with Expansions 1 and 2, no cartridges at all, goinf for $75!!!  :x

    Or just keep a good watch on ebay you might get lucky as it does happen at times :D
